Vastly superior? I would say it's a little exaggeration. Well, my point is even U2, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Queen, etc has weak/crappy albums. In my opinion Radiohead doesn't, at least I can't remember any Paradise style song or hip hop or collaboration with Britny. Also I remember after AROBTTH they send a grateful letter to Coldplay, and this recognition means a lot for me personally. Perhaps the whole MX wouldn't be so bad, but it's definitely the weakest album so far.

TKOL isn't great, but it's really good. Codex could be a good Coldplay song.

Well from the other side it could be their last tour, who knows. As much as I dislike "new direction" chances I will be at the gig during MX tour increase.

Well I bet someone has already mentioned it but of course Chris changed through this years. He was nowhere, just a boy from big family, now he is millionaire with beautiful wife and two kids. How could he write something about sadness/love/feelings in this situation? That's why we hear today crappy upbeat radio friendly tracks. He has already told everything he wants about our universe, human existence, etc. He don't worry nowadays, he don't have passion to something which could lead to some expression in his music. Coldplay is done, lads.

Great song? Did someone notice the annoying beat? Which is kind of hip hop beat? And tell me some other words except million times repeating Up in flames? This is could be a b-side from AROBTTH era, hardly more.

The worst thing they will probably perform both ETIAW and Paradise on the tour, so for me it wouldn't be so excited like in 2008 in Berlin, but chances are really high I will be at one of the gig visiting some European city.
