  1. I guess Bombastic is a right therm, cause every radio friendly single must sound loud (means great) from any crappy boombox.
  2. Well, X&Y isn't solid album like Parashutes, AROBTTH or Viva, but it definitely has more loaded singles than rest of the albums including MX. Square One, Low, Message, Hardest Part and Speed of Sound with Talk - all this tracks I can listen at any time, any place.
  3. Earlier I considered suicide, but after those crappy songs I refuse to give my life!
  4. Major Minus isn't crap, but studio version sucks though..
  5. Along with MTM MX/Hurts Like Heaven are probably the best song from this era. I mean live version. I beg and plead studio version would not be crap like Major Minus.
  6. ^Good for what? Completely spoil my expectation? Or aware me do not buy MX? Definitely great strategy. Kudos to Eno or whatever behind this decision.
  7. I'm really considering suicide. Twilight, huh? Ok, guys, you are insane.
  8. Great post. But the topic is seems a bit off. Older fans, generally, doesn't like this new direction, it's a given fact. Look who played Coldplay songs on youtube again and again - males 45-54, males 35-44, males 25-34. Now it would be girls under 17. I would say it's rather disappointment, because songs like MTM, Famous Old Painters and Lucas has amazing potential, which has been dropped to trash can by someone called Brian Eno. This is a frustration. And all this artifical borders and rules, what the hell this all about? Man can't changed the way he writes signature, no matter what, why Coldplay are trying to do this? I don't know. It's weird actually.
  9. No one mentioned that AROBTTH is 55 minutes long? Must be a crappy album based on opinions there. Jeez. We need divide forum for two parts - for under 18 and for over 18.
  10. Be kind, correct the length in the thread title.
  11. Keep your disappointment until you hear studio version, which could be much worse than live. Just saying.
  12. It he doesn't give a shit about fans opinion why he feels he need inform us about this? Why he didn't say it previously, before other albums, huh?
  13. So Don't Let Your Hurt or whatever would be another crap kind of Paradise/ETIAW. And happy ending? Jeez.
  14. Really? Well, I can confuse it. I've already told my ipod classic died, so I can't check it, don't have time to find it all on youtube. Perhaps crap was too strong word for MX, but for me VLV was a step back, MX looks like 2 steps back, though I adore Prospect EP and unreleased instrumentals.
  15. Yea, I didn't hear only 4 tracks from 14, so I can't make any conclusion, right? As for Beatles - "Rubber Soul" and "Beatles for Sale" (my ipod died month ago so I can't be sure, because I like listen random albums) Queen - "The Game" Pink Floyd - "Final Cut"
  16. Well, sorry if i was too rude, everyone has it's own opinion, we agree to disagree, etc. I'm just a bit frustrated they can pull a song like MTM/Famous Old Painters/Lucas and it even can't make a cut. You know it's like your life love after 6-7 years suddenly become cold (VLV) and then is turning back to u shouting "fuck off" (MX). If you had such experience you should know how it hurts, almost like heaven. Also I don't want start it but it seems younger fans loves new material more than older. I guess I'm too old for this shit.
