Whadda ya mean, "ït's going to be"? It's been out for months ;) De CD/DVD is simply called R.E.M. Live. You can buy it just about everywhere.

I don't think this will be the first leg of the tour. If the album is out in May, I'm sure they'll play some low profile gigs first, then play some festivals throughout the summer and play huge venues in the fall.

Yes I am :D I'm really relieved Radiohead aren't playing on friday, because I have a wedding to attend that day. I'm going to miss out on seeing Neil Young and The Verve though, which is a bummer...

It is now confirmed that Radiohead will play the ROCK WERCHTER festival in Belgium on saturday July 5 (location was already confirmed on radiohead.com, but the date has only been announced this morning) The bill is already pretty brilliant that day:

Although the Oscars were incredibly predictable this year, I enjoyed the show. I didn't expect The Bourne Ultimatum to win 3 out of 3 awards though... And I was very relieved to see 'Falling Slowly' win Best Song.

I have a gut feeling that Kid A will be completely and utterly overlooked on the Greatest Hits compilation. The CD will mostly contain The Bends + OK Computer material, plus Creep, Pyramid Song, Knives Out, There There and Go To Sleep. I think. Radiohead won't be having any say in the tracklist as it will be compilated by people who had little to do with Radiohead back in the days. (Most people who were close to Radiohead don't work for EMI anymore). So yeah, it will probably contain singles only, and therefore a complete and boring ripoff for fans. And maybe a second disc with b-sides. A DVD would be nice though, one with all the videos.

He's ok. I don't mind his songs on the radio, and I saw him at a festival last year and I was pleasantly surprised by the gig's great vibe.

Well, that's bullcrap because How To Disappear Completely is obviously one of Radiohead's very best songs ever.

Oh come on, let's admit it. We all try to 'do a Thom' whenever we're alone in a car or at home while listening to a Radiohead CD. I think I'm ok at it. I'm quite alright in the 90's era Radiohead, but not so much in the new Radiohead. I mean, Reckoner is friggin' hard to sing to!! Kudos to Thom.

Damn. I've been attending huge summer festivals ever since 1997, so I've pretty much seen just about any big band live. Or at least the interesting ones. Muse (10x) and Radiohead (8x) are well-known examples. Haven't seen Doves though. I'd love to see them some day.

I don't think there will be another Gorillaz album. I thought Damon said Demon Days was to be their final one (compilations not included)...? Besides, Blur seem to be in talks again. Would be awesome if they were to release an album end-2008 as well.
