I was hoping it was photoshopped and you might be right. The edge of the "D" does look a little sharp in comparison to the rest. Although, maybe the girls intentionally made it so you'd have to look a second time, because the "P" goes further down than the "ICK". "Oooh, it says "pick"!" Edit: Chris had been looking astonished at my posts long enough. I need a new avatar and preferably a signature banner with Chris in it and maybe the whole band in the banner. It needs to be from the new concerts/LP5 era. If anyone can make me something I like (which I probably will) they will of course be credited in my sig (you can just put your name in the banner), get a virtual kiss and maybe a Chris pic spam. :D

I voted Monday August 1st. It's a Monday (oh, you don't say!), which fits with the Monday theme going on, and it's far away enough for them to have figured out the tracklisting when they haven't by now. :) It would also make sense with an October release and a September single release, right?

My favourite part is "So you can hurt, hurt me bad But still I'll raise the flag". I think it sums up the whole message, because without it you might think "why do they sing every teardrop is a waterfall to a happy and upbeat melody?" To me the song is about having been hurt badly or gone through a rough thing where tears seemed endless, but now being able to see the beautiful things in life and celebrating and as ARushofLove said, seeing the tears as beautiful. That is even though what caused them might have been painful. The song can really make me dance and jump around feeling "on a roll" while I with the lyrics remember the tears I've cried in the past, but think positively upon the present, where I enjoy my music, being alive and other values in the moment.

I think they began hitting here in Denmark in 2003(?) with the song Transparent & Glasslike. I loved that song (I still do). Oh wow, I didn't even know it was in FIFA 08, even though my brother has it. I like it when the FIFA game uses relatively unknown bands. They were probably already famous then, but I learned about Scissor Sisters because "Take Your Mama" was in a FIFA game. Good times...

Just Human isn't one of my favourite tracks (I think it's originally called Human), but the chorus is a great singalong. At the festival I saw them at, they played a medley of Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams, the piano riff of Coldplay's Clocks and Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall. It was awesome and a nice surprise!

Hey! I thought this Danish band needs a thread! They are a cool electro-rock band that I think many Coldplayers will like. The easiest way to hear their music is via YouTube http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=carpark+north&aq=f http://www.carparknorth.com/ I saw them live twice during 2010-2011 on my little island and they ROCKED! I once met the lead singer in Copenhagen by coincidence and got his autograph. I only have their album "Grateful", but it's awesome. :) Chris Martin actually gave them a shout out at a concert in Denmark years ago.

Chris looked FREAKING GORGEOUS at the Rock am Ring concert, which I just watched. :wideeyed: :sweatdrop: :blush: He also sounded fiiiiine and played well.
