poor aligator :( i feel bad for the boy but mankind is invading thier habitat as our population increases and it's a wild animal I'm sure it will get killed too. On a sligh tangent in the Florida everglades now aligators are fast being replaced as the top preditors by people who dump thier snakes there when they get too big, apparantly the place is full of giants like the reticulated python, anacondas etc they have people that go hunting them because it messes up the eco system and i feel sorry for them too, it's not thier fault thier owners were stupid enough to think look at that cute little snake in the shop not realising it will grow into a 20 foot+ giant.

It's hard to explain really I just found the Tele a bit uncomfortable shape wise, I think mainly it comes down to what style you play and what tones you need to get from your guitar, I have one of the new VG Strats so I can make it sound like a Tele if needed and I have played around with it in Tele mode+ the humbucker mode is useful for when I want to play heavier, I think Teles are beautiful instruments thier just not for me :)

I know, he first thing I do when I get a new guitar is go and practice on my own for hours on end :D

I've played quite a few different guitars but the ones I've bought have always been the ones perfect for me, I've tried a Tele but I personally didn't like the feel of the neck on it and found it too twangy for my style, also I don't know if any other Tele players have found this but do any of you find them a little uncomfortable shape wise?, apart from the difference in tone I found a Strat much more comfortable to play and it still has the bonus of been lightweight which is a must for me as I'm not the strongest person, I've tried a LP and 335 but didn't really like either so I settled with what I like to play the most, luckily it's pretty much the most used guitar that my 2 favourite players use anyway so it worked out well :)

I really prefer him with The Last Shadow Puppets to the Arctic Monkeys, I think it was The Age of the Understatement that did it for me.

Your right about taste, everyones different if we wern't it would make for a boring world :), to me the most beautiful guitar is an Olympic white Strat, I hope you enjoy your new Tele when it comes, it's such a lovely feeling getting an instrument you've lusted after for ages.

Pendulums Violet Hill cover Did anyone else hear it?, I've been honest from the start here and sai I actually don't greatly like Coldplays music it's not that I hate them I just don't really connect with thier stuff and I asked what the attraction was, but anyway I liked the forum and stayed :) To get to the point though Pendulum did a cover of Violet Hill and it's very different but for the first time I thought Violet Hill really rocked, anyway whats your views on it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1LPbPDa_es

I really don't like them much at all.

It is pretty fast paced but in a lot of ways it's pretty dark too there's a lot of torture , Jack Bauers not a nice guy type of hero at all, imagine having him as a dad and bringing anyone home lol.

In all honesty I'm not saying the Teles a bad guitar that would be a foolish statement, just for me I'm not into the more twangy sound and honestly I don't like it too much astheticlly, some people say the Strat sounds too thin but in my opinion it's one of the most versatile guitars and if a different tone is needed then that's what effects are for :), are you getting a real '72? or a re issue?, must be costing a bit but I'm sure worth it, what gets me is the prices of Pre CBS Strats and Teles are just so obscene but Jags etc are pretty affordable.

He can be pretty mean, but he's doing something right in the sexy stakes(I like girls and I still find him sexy lol)

An amazing, and chilling performance...maybe better than the album version I'm really feeling that actually, I've never felt one way or the other particularly abour Radiohead but that's a great performance:)
