Das kann ich gut nachvollziehen, den Ticker in der Signatur hab ich mir im Januar gemacht,da waren es noch etliche Monate bis zum Konzert und jetzt ist es bald soweit. Vor allem mach ich mir Sorgen, dass ich da nicht rechtzeitig hinkomme (ich kann erst um 16 Uhr losfahren) wegen Stau oder sonst ein Mist dazwischen kommt...hoffentlich krieg ich am Tag darauf Urlaub...

I think it depends on the era...their style is always changing.... Before Parachutes and maybe also Parachutes -> Indie or Alternative A rush of blood to the head -> Soft Rock X&Y and Viva la vida -> Pop as sadly as it sounds...

Langsam bin ich sehr aufgeregt und mach mir total Sorgen wegen des Konzerts, was neulich verschoben worden ist. Wer da wohl krank geworden ist, hoffentlich ist es nichts Ernstes... Das ist ja irre mit der Umbenennung der Arena, hatte mich schon neulich gewundert, warum da plötzlich irgendwo beim Ticketshop Esprit-Arena stand. Naja, ich werd leider erst um 18 Uhr da sein können, weil ich noch vorher arbeiten muss, aber ich hab ja auch einen Sitzplatz, deswegen ist es ja egal. Bin auch mal gespannt, ob wir alle unsere CD nach der Show bekommen. Wäre schon toll, wenn wir uns dort treffen könnten, aber wie und wo?

That does not to seem to be a very long time.... at least it was a very intensive one. Just have to tell you my little story. I'm kinda celebrating my first anniversary of being a Coldplay fan at the moment. Sadly I don't know the exact date but I know it was at the beginning of August one year back that I realized I had become a fan (sorry for my grammar :\). That was also a turning point in my life, finally things got better for me - I had a very tough time the months before. Then I started to listen to "Trouble" and everything made sense for me. I also remember listening to the radio while driving home from work and suddenly there was Viva la vida on it and already at the announcement of Coldplay I had such a feeling of happiness...I cannot describe it in words. :D I bought the Parachutes album and I was simply blown away - I've always searched for this kind of music. Since then I adored Coldplay and I spent the following months discovering all of their songs, background-stories, the forum and so on. I think in September 08 there was a concert of them in Germany and I was so sad that I couldn't come - I couldn't imagine that they will come again just a year later on :D - and now there are only 22 days left until I can finally see the guys :sunny: For me the whole thing is a bit unbelievable because just 3 or 4 years ago I would laugh about everyone saying "you will visit a Coldplay concert and become a big fan". I know the band since their beginning but I did not like them until one year ago. Sometimes life can be so strange. Maybe I was not mature enough for their music or could not relate to them - I don't know the reason. Enough about me - how about you? How long have you been a Coldplay fan - immediately or like me so many years later? And how did you become a fan?

At least I know what you mean by swinging ;) - you're right that's the greatest part of it. Yep Daylight is also a song that you have to listen to a lot of times to like it. Although the chorus is not my favorite one, I love the verses - they are so great with the bassline and the other instrumental parts of it. At the end I love the piano and the repeating of "slowly breaking through the daylight" so following... - they should do something like that on their next album. I love Viva la vida but I think in a musical way it's a bit superficial.

Your'e absolutely right. Maybe it sounded like this because of the title but I did not meant it exactly like this , i will put it into inverted commas. Of course Radiohead did not plagiarized CP in Satrianis way of thinking, that's really bullshit. I just wanted to express that in the beginning of House of Cards there is so much similarity that it reminded me of the whole plagiarism scandal and all the people who just accuse Coldplay. Every band takes up ideas from the other, most of the time subconsciously. So it's time for a little bit of justice.
