Welcome! When I started here a year ago it was quite the same and even now I don't always feel recognised. I think this forum is just too big to acknowdlege every new user but if you post regulary and come up with some interesting topics you will soon find affiliation.

That's my E-Mail: Dear Coldplay, Thank you very much for your invitation. Although I don't know the occasion of your invitation it's my deepest pleasure to assure you my company to this. Every evening of the VLV-Tour showed us fans that an invitation of you can never be disappointing. So thank you very much for the past and the future plans, whatsoever they will be. With kind regards, Thank you guys, I'm so glad you made me answer their request. That would never come into my mind - did not know what's RSVP  - now I'm really excited about the events that will follow....

What will you miss most about the Viva era?
Mainly the theme, the butterflies and the outfits - all the other things expect for the puppets will come back anyway...no doubt! However the whole concept of the album was so great, they did something noone else did at the time. No other music and no other theme came close to it, they could not have had a better idea for the album. Although I became a fan in the VLV era last year - I did not directly became a fan because of VlV (my first album was Parachutes) and I'm kinda proud of it. The concept of VLV was so much to the point that it even made Coldplay a bit too popular ... they really are the biggest existing band of the world right now. And I will also miss the gorgeous album cover "La Liberté guidant le peuple" - what a statement! I personally loved the uniforms because they suited all of them well and everytime I saw it, it was like a journey through time 150 years ago....that fitted to the music (especially "Violet hill"). And of course the Grammy appearance - they were in contrast to all the other music biz idiots and they demonstrated their entity as a band. Not to forget the butterflies on Left right left right left and the confetti. LRLRL was such a nice gift of them, a highlight for every concertgoer- you really felt their appreciation every minute of the concert. I was too far away to catch butterfly confetti so I picked it up outside from the ground - for noone else I would do something like this, believe me : ) Now I have a nice picture of them on my wall with the ticket and butterflies all around them. So sad that the era is over now and we will have to wait a very long time for a new era to come... P.S. There is just one thing I won't miss - JayZ :-)

18th at Wembley was dissapointing
90 minutes? Is that possible if there were so many pauses and with the full tracklist?

As the Viva-era concludes, let's re-listen.
jep that would be the perfect Christmas present for us (if they hurry it's possible to release it until Christmas) :D They now take the 2nd Wembley Concert and not the Barcelona gig - am I right?

German Fans?
Das frag ich mich allerdings auch...4 Alben in 9 Jahren sind ja auch nicht gerade viel Material für uns. Klar es gibt einige B-Seiten, aber die kennen wir ja auch mittlerweile. Hoffentlich lässt sich Chris was einfallen.

Is Coldplay your favorite band or one of your favorites?

Cemeteries Of London - A tale of the afterlife
Thank you for the great interpretation....very hard to do this with Coldplay songs in general. I like these lyrics because it creates whole images in your mind and you because you cannot be 100% sure about the meaning of some lines. Even Chris is not so sure about all lyrics on VLV.

Chris Martin Quotes
Absolutely! I imagined I would stand there to ask a question - at first I would not get a word out of my mouth and then after a hilarious comment I would burst into laughter...:laugh3:

German Fans?

How deep is your love?
Well I'm sorry for you - when I was in school there was the same situation shitty class members and annoying teachers but I did not have Coldplay to calm myself :( - I listened to other music back then. Of course not during class - our teachers would have told us something... However you're right saying that their music is very calming. For me Coldplay makes a bad day much better and turns a good day into a perfect one. The music can be played in all situations, that's why I love CP so much. I'm a fan for only one year - so I think my fan status will still develop. I don't have my room full of Coldplay but I have a little corner dedicated to them a self made picture with the butterflies on my wall - I think that's sufficient, I'm not 12 anymore  Before the concert I only had phases (a month or so) in which I listened to Coldplay extremely often but I think it has changed - from now on there has to be Coldplay every day!!!!
