Waited so long to listen to the studio versions: "Lukas" sounded more interesting in the live-version and her voice in studio is even more annoying! I want Chris to sing the song and Jonny, Guy and Will to play the instruments! "Want" sounds like Texas and is boring, "Fun" is the only song out of the three that fits to Natalie. "Scars" does not sound like Coldplay or Chris Martin to me....but I could be wrong.

This site is so lala :rolleyes:, and if they're really making fun of him than they spend a lot of time for it...creating the site, writing texts, keep it alive....

My father is no MJ fan but he also does not like the CP-version of Billie Jean because Chris' singing would be not good enough, however he does not like Coldplay :rolleyes:. I don't think that their version of Billie Jean is too bad, ok some notes are really too high for Chris - that's the problem, he should sing it a few notes lower....

Politik ist immer ein heikles Thema. Dabei sind die meisten hier doch einer Meinung... Schade, ich hab wirklich den Eindruck, dass sehr viele vor allem jüngere Leute mit dem Wahlausgang nicht zufrieden sind....da zeigen sich mal wieder die Auswirkungen der Altersstruktur.

Absolut - nicht nur eine Blamage mit diesen Unfähigen, sondern durchaus auch eine wirkliche Gefährdung für uns Normalos. Und wer ist daran schuld? Alle (entschuldigt den Ausdruck) Idioten, die nicht wählen gegangen sind oder auf "neue Parteien" stehen. Diese Leute sind auch diejenigen, die als Erstes heulen werden, wenn die Mehrwertsteuer raufgesetzt wird, der Kündigungsschutz den Bach runter geht und wer weiß, was sich Schwarz-Gelb (ist übrigens ne Warnfarbe) sonst noch ausdenken werden. Das werden vier lange, harte Jahre und nen fetten Rechtsruck wird es auch geben, da brauchen wir keine extremistischen Parteien für.... Aber damit hör ich jetzt lieber auf, hab mich schon genug am Sonntag aufgeregt, da kann man seine Zeit viel besser mit Coldplay vergeuden....

Just read that we almost have the same thoughts today -thank you for telling me about Gallipolli, did not know anything about it. Sure there could be a relation to it - Chris studied ancient history so he knows what it is all about. I love Poppyfields - it's such a mysterious piece of music.

Not such a great story but I will tell you anyway: I was in a dutch shopping centre on Friday to get a CD and they were playing Viva la vida when I came in - funny thing was I heard it just a few minutes ago in my car. I stayed until the song was finished. I always feel to be in demand when they play anything of CP :D.

Yep pardoxically a lot of bad movies have astonishing good soundtracks, for example "Twilight", "Cruel Intentions" or "I am legend"....don't know the reason why but nevertheless I'm glad that the Scientist is not on the OST of a teenie movie (sorry for the remark).

You're so absolutely right. I agree to the point that we should have more discussions about the music but that has nothing to do with the "silly" threads. Most girls just love good looking boys - that's just human nature and when Chris is running on stage topless he delivers the material to us....:D. I think also serious bands are admired by a lot of women, so it's not just a "Jonas Brothers-phenomen". Why shouldn't people just have fun here and admire the really adorable guys who we all love? This year I had a serious operation, the 18 year old sister of a classmate died in a horrible car crash as a front-seat passager and the driver did not have any serious injury and another class mate has leukemia at the age of 21 - all this made clear to me that we should really use everyday of our life to have as much fun as we can, hard times will come for sure, so just enjoy the easy parts of life.

Couldn't express this better...you're absolutely right with it. Nevertheless Viva is not in my Top 5 but I can underwrite that it's the song of the Viva era....when I think of this era I immediately think of this song! This is my personal list: 1. Death and all his friends - what an anthem for Coldplan and their fans...it's my favourite track from the album, there is a certain positive spirit to it - always get goosebumps at the end.....:D 2. Life in technicolor - just brings on the perfect introduction into the Viva era - when they started with it at the concert it - I was just a few seconds away from seeing them in real for the first time in my life ....this song will always remind me of that moment. By the way I don't really like Life in technicolor 2 that much - I think it's much more descriptive without vocals. 3. 42 - I just love the structure of this track - the sad beginning, the increasing tension and the surprising climax and at the end everything it comes to the full circle. 4. Lost! - when I first listened to the album I liked it immediately - and I still like it because of its energy and the message! Lost? is also great. 5. Death will never conquer - I had to switch it with Postcards, I think I like it a little bit more than it.... Very hard to leave out Lovers in japan (acoustic), Violet hill, Postcards... and the Goldrush...:-(

Nicole du bist ja wohl der Fan schlechthin, schon wieder die erste Reihe - wie schaffst du das nur? Aber diesmal nur eine Setlist - das enttäuscht jetzt ja schon etwas ;). An Düsseldorf kommt sowie nicht so schnell was ran - da passte das Karma einfach von vorne bis hinten. Wie oft hab ich das eigentlich hier schon im Forum erwähnt :D? Ich glaube langsam echt, dass Chris von The Hardest Part ziemlich angenervt ist - von mir aus kann man ihn auch aus der Setlist rauslassen - ist sowieso nicht so der tolle Livesong meiner Meinung nach. Wie grauenvoll waren denn Girls aloud (ich hasse die Band aber vor allem Chris dafür, will der uns etwa ärgern :inquisitive:) -so gute Vorbands in aller Welt,nur in London wird's dann richtig unterirdisch.

I'm still wondering about this invitation thing ....that's so mysterious - what could it mean?
