I don't like ETIAW cuz it is too poppy and not in a good way, and because it has that sample ... UIF I find to be one of the most boring Coldplay songs ever, it's just really plain... And POC, sorry,but I love it. :) ...HOWEVER! there is not ONE song on MX I like more than Moving to Mars. It may be one of my top 5 Coldplay songs ever. I was just blown away when I heard it for the first time. I am a sucker for that spacey kinda music. And to me, MTM just shows wonderful progress, therefore it is a shame it is not on the album.

I must say, with the exception Paradise and ETIAW, the lyrics on this album are BRILLIANT. It shows some really good work here, kudos Chris ;)

I think it is just all relative, as I said before, I don't like the flow of the album, AHT is too out there, just jumps out of nowhere for me, and Up In Flames is slower than MTM too... Yeah,maybe Chris was the one that wanted MTM on the album...I wonder who was against it in the band? :thinking:

The album. I just find it rather messed up, too chaotic and too much stuff going on...hard to follow....

Actually, I find ATH to be horrible. Even worse than Up In Flames...

I somehow have a feeling that MTM was dropped instead of Up In Flames. Which is a terrible mistake. IMO, A Hopeful Transmission is the biggest track waste on the CD, and Moving To Mars would have found its place perfectly... If they really HAD to keep UIF... Which I find really boring ... :( The reason I am sad it is not on the album is that I guess I care about the band and think that more people deserved to hear the brilliance of that song... It is one of their best efforts,IMO.
