I am sad that the song is getting so much hatred here... It's more Coldplay than many of the tracks on the album, and it is dark, mysterious, full of tension and some great guitars... Sad that some don't get its quality,really...

HOW can someone vote Major Minus over Up in Flames and A Hopeful Transmission?!!?!? WTF?!?!? I hate those two so much, I even started liking Paradise and ETIAW when I heard them!

Hm well I disagree because, there are , honestly, some songs that do not belong in the album. Personally, I really don't see the point in A hopeful transmission.

same here, I don't see why people seem to enjoy the "transition"... oh well... it's the corniest thing on the album to me, and totally ruins it as a whole...

what's with the Major Minus hate? everyone I played it to said it's great! And it's edgy, different and dark, I would LOVE it to be a single. They haven't had a dark song for a single since God Put...

the only part I am not crazy about is the end, the concert part. other than that, so lovely! :D

sounds rather mellow to me on the album... the live version has more passion to it... it's kinda weak , the studio version... where the hell is JB? I can barely hear him! And the verses seem kinda to be really low on the richness.. I don't know, to me, the production killed the song, and I was afraid of it ,given how perfect it sounds live and how wonderful the song itself is...

I'd kick that fucking Hopeful transmission out, put dlbyh on spot number 12, moving to mars on 13 and up with the birds on 14. OR vice versa, the last two. moving to mars just HAD to be on the album. I can't forgive them for not putting it there. and to think that such a boring song like Up in Flames is there instead... :(

The Goldrush is a wonderful song, wtf is it with you people??? :D PoC I don't find to be the worst, I don't find it that bad , to be honest. For me, their worst one might be Up in flames. And I fucking hate Paradise too. - the biggest conformist on the forum much? :laugh3:

of course he's real! :cool: I know, I feel kinda let down by the studio versions too... Hurts Like Heaven is kinda... weaker than the live version,not that much energy. Though I still like it. Charlie Brown, I wish the guitar was louder and Chris' voice sounds kinda weaker in parts. But hey, it's the Chicken/Egg thing, right?

Disappointment: Overproduced,some sounds way too swallowed by the others... Too much happening at the time. Up in flames is boring to death. Pretty short album. The interludes except for MX are ... pointless. A hopeful transmission annoys the hell out of me. Paradise and ETIAW here, and MTM not. Surprise: Princess of China. I mean, woah. Never thought I'd like it with Rihanna. But, she delivers indeed. Respect. UFO is brilliant. DLIBYH is pretty cool. UWTB is really brave. All in all, very different from Viva La Vida. Respect for that too.
