Post piccies of the sexy Mr Berryman..
I can't believe that's part of my vid :laugh3: Looks so different in B&W but it's amazing. I really loved this part of the video to be honest and actually wouldn't believe he dislikes the song. Hard to believe when you see him grooving like THAT!! :sweatdrop:

Am I the only one who disagrees with the MX promotion?
Same here ... *hehe* It was really nice hearing Moving To Mars & Us Against The World, but IMHO they are not as 'strong' as Charlie Brown or Hurts Like Heaven. Little do I know, it's just personal preference, I have to say. As wonderful as UATW is with Will singing, it would be excellent as a B-Side, on a EP or maybe on a 'Deluxe Version' of the album ...

Am I the only one who disagrees with the MX promotion?
+ 1! Exactly my view!! :) I just can't believe they would be 'firing off' the majority of their material so much in advance of the album release. Maybe it's just my naive hope that most of the tracks on the album will be new to all of us?! :\

Am I the only one who disagrees with the MX promotion?
S*** ... I was about to write the same as Debs but she beat me to it ;) I mean, when the festivals were announced betting was going on whether they would be playing new songs or not and trust me, if they HADN'T played some new tunes, people would have complained as well. :( Somehow I don't think that all of the songs will actually make it onto the album but that's just my view on things and I could be totally wrong ...

MYL OXYL OTO - My take on Coldplay's clever and perhaps subversive new album title
Have you seen their asses?? :sneaky: Are they pretty?? :laugh3: :wink3:

MYL OXYL OTO - My take on Coldplay's clever and perhaps subversive new album title
Same here. I think they just had a game of scrabble and these letters were the 'leftovers'. ;) And I'm pretty sure they are extremely amused about people trying to find a deeper meaning in any of it ... :laugh3: AND ... it's the best that can actually happen. Coldplay, their album title as well as their new music in general are on everyone's lips  Just clever marketing!

How to pronounce 'Mylo Xyloto' properly! *confirmed*
Honestly ... I think there are things way more important to worry about ;) I can already see/hear MANY radio DJs struggling with the correct pronuciation of the album title and meticulousy fans will start rolling their eyes because they don't get it right. For me, it's the content that counts. The music. And I don't care how the songs will be called as long as I like the melodies & harmonies. I have such a soft spot for good melodies :) And a good bassline :wink3: :sneaky:

Lonesome concert goers...
Well, I don't have any problem at all, going to a concert alone but maybe that only started some time ago. I reckon, it was loads easier for me to find people keeping me company at concerts when I was younger. Many of my friends have changed their priorities & lifes once they got older and listening to music or going to concerts isn't a top priority to them anymore. :embarrassed: Plus they don't have the money to buy concert tickets (or at least they don't want to spend their hard earned cash on tix). Yep!! Otherwise you may regret it if you didn't go because you couldn't find someone who would keep you company. Happened to me some years ago, so it won't ever happen again. Afterwards you just feel sorry for yourself not seeing a certain band play live and who knows when or whether they will ever return to your city?! Same here. I wouldn't say that my taste it music is super special or weird but many people just don't know the bands or don't like them so they wouldn't risk spending money on a concert ticket. Exactly and it could get worse if your friends blame YOU later for spending money for a concert they didn't enjoy. This may spoil your own experiences and could make feel you lousy. So no win for anyone ... :( So in consequence I usually mention to other people that I'm going to see a band/singer but I won't drag people along or beg them to keep me company. If they are interested in keeping me company I'm more than happy to take them with me :)

LP5 World Tour 2011 / 2012 (rumoured European tour schedule pg.3)
Plus germans still spend quite a lot of money on concert tickets (despite the tough economical situation), not only talking about Coldplay here but in general musicwise. Many artists/bands have quite extended tours over here, it's not only Berlin, Hamburg, Munich but loads of other cities/venues as well. So when a promoter gets its hands on a worldwide top-selling band, it's not really a risk, to book around 5 - 8 concerts in different locations. I'm just curious to see how much these dates will stay like this if an official announcement will follow :) Should be announced within the next two weeks, I guess as ticketssales should be at least 3 months in advance with advertising aso.

LP5 World Tour 2011 / 2012 (rumoured European tour schedule pg.3)
Could be filled with new gigs or a second/third show in a certain location. I'm pretty sure they will play Paris Bercy more than once and also the Ahoy in Rotterdam. Plus dates/concerts are most of the time up to the promoter not up to the band. A promoter needs to make sure to be able to sell out the concerts at a certain location (okay, with Coldplay probably not really a big risk ;) ), so they would only choose cities/venues which may apply to that. And I'm pretty sure this tour is going to be continued after Portugal, with more dates :)

LP5 World Tour 2011 / 2012 (rumoured European tour schedule pg.3)
I wouldn't go as far as calling it bullshit. It's not completely unrealistic ... :) In a logistic manner, it's always best to choose the shortest distance between two spots or schedule a tour by the availability of the venues and then short distances. Mannheim - Strasbourg are around 150 km Strasbourg - Cologne are 360 km Cologne - Antwerpen are 225 km Antwerpen - Paris are 350 km So not really that far even though they cross different countries. It's just a simple 'north-to-south' schedule, IMO  But of course we still don't know whether these dates are accurate or not so it's just complete speculation :laugh3:

Bid in order to win a dinner for 2 with Debs Wild !!! ( Money for Charity )
I just had to laugh about the thought what if CP themselves donate/bid again (like they did in the justgiving website) and Debs would be having a dinner with one of the guys :laugh3: She wouldn't be able to get rid of them, even in her freetime ;) :laugh3:

There should be updates on YouTube tomorrow latest. VirginMobile will update their channel with some kind of 'best of ...' :) Haven't checked yet whether someone else already uploaded videos of it though ... :\
