Saw it last night and what a finale! I knew what was coming so I was very impatient to see if they'd do justice to Martin's words and they have! Jon's leaving & departing from the Wall with the NW, Arya meeting Gendry (actually in book 2), Sansa starting to grow up thx to Joffrey's "love", Robb named king in the north and of course: THE BIRTH :awesome: HBO did a great job!! Now I can't wait for S2!! Winter is coming bitches!

It's Peter Bjorn and John. I only know this song from them. I listen a lot to OUI FM and they're playing a lot right now. I liked this song so I put it! I opened all my tracks with windows media player and I delete everything..*bizarre* And yeah it's Blondie with 'Atomic'. This track is actually from Khaplay (who couldn't play for this mix so I let her choose a track that I would put in mine :p ) Yep, Brigitte indeed! I discovered her thx to Emilie Mazoyer chronicle on Le Mouv and I bought their album, it's great! It's Holocene, a song from bon Iver's new album. I like this guy and this song. 10/10 :) Love her voice too! My dear Flo of course! It's a b-side called 'hardest of hearts'. The band is The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart. I only know this song from them (again, it's playing a lot on OUI FM, the 'indé playlist') The band is Fitz and the Tantrums. I (again) only know this song, I heard it on a video where the Kings of Leon were fooling around on this song XD and I liked it. It is Arcade fire with 'city with no children'. I'm not a 'fan' of them but I like this one a lot. British band indeed called Chapel Club. Remind me of mix of White Lies and Joy Division. Their album is really good. It's the Wombats!! With 'jump into the fog'. I wanted to end the mixtape with a 'joyfull' track and I thought this one would fit! So...how people are holding up after episode 9?!! :D Great episode (again). It's the beginning of a serie of episodes that I don't want to see/relive again...T.T The finale scene was very moving. I just hope it won't turn off people from watching the serie....:/ Yeah, GoT is cruel but it's always for a purpose! Now you get the signification of the scene in episode 1 where the dear death leads to the wolf's one.... GoT is all about the children! For the rest, Robb was perfect (too bad we didn't see Grey-Wind kicking asses on the battlefield nor see Robb capturing Jaime, who was, again absolutely fabulous with smirk and cruel casualty as always!). Introducing of Walder Frey, another Harry Potter casting but he's perfect! As for Jon...you'll have to choose my friend! Great scenes with Aemon and Mormont. Preview for the finale next week. R#42 and Debs said the tracklisting isn't finalised yet (as I suspected, they're testing song during festivals and see which will make the cut afterwards). PLUS, in his last blog, Miller said they were still writing! So I doubt it will be out on 1rst of July (time to press and CDs and stuff?!)....wait & see but I think it will be between end of august->october.

Review for my tape nicely titled 'The sound of a new dawn' 1-Cover of Bon Iver's 'Skinny love'. Girl singing (she seems young?), dunno who this is but she has a pretty good voice, she's only accompagnied by a piano. It's a very moving cover! 2-Mellow track piano driven, kinda jazzy. Male singing, dunno who this is. I really like the lyrics. Nice track. 3-Still 'mellow'. I like the violin cripping from now and then, still dunno who is this male singing. Nice but I'm not a big fan of it. 4-Accordeon for starter and then wosh of sound! Harmony of voices singing. This song has a positiv feel through it! The vocals are gripping and the melody is joyfull! Nice one. 5-Some electronica/weirdo song with female synthetised/whispering vocals. It could be featuring in a SF movie. Not a big fan of it but I reckon it's catchy. 6-Pretty catchy pop-rock song. Dunno who this is but it's very easy to the ear and radio friendly. Like it. 7- Old french song (30-40's I guess by the sound of it)! Is the mixtaper french?! I am, so no problem to understand that one :) Don't recognise who is singing. This could be part of my grandmother disc collection, I like it. 8- classic music tune. Seems like either a ballet extract or a movie track. I tend to think of the former. Love it. 9-Piano track with female singing, the song becomes more epic as it goes on with powerful drum beat. I dunno who is singing but it's a cool song! 10-accoustic guitar/folky tune. Sounds kinda like Bon Iver and I like it! 11-Mellow rock/ballad track. Dunno who this is (again XD). It's radio friendly and could easily featured in a TV show or movie. Nice one. 12-Nice pop-rock accoustic song. Easy to the hear but it didn't make quite an impression on me... 13-Soft track with female singing. Her voice rings a bell, but I can't put my finger on it. It's dreamy and melancholic. 14- Aching duet between a man and a woman. Sounds like a musical track. It has a 'Fantom of the Opera' feeling (never seen it) but I guess it what it could sound. Nice. Overall, a very nice tape, I really enjoyed it!! Curious to know all these artists I don't know!! Thx mixtaper!

Nobody watched the amazing episode 8 written by the author himself?!! Gosh, it was SO good!! Totally the book with no 'added scenes', I LOVED IT! Best moments for me: -Syrio kicking ass, the fighting scene was ace! He was 'dancing'!! *o* -Cersei being more bitchy than ever -Tywin Lannister being Tywin and Tyrion being awesome as always -Drogo's fight was badass and Dany lovely -Jon getting shit at the wall with the walkers attack and Ghost is here again (even if he didn't participate to the walker killing like in the book). Samwell always the voice of reason! At least, there is one bright mind on the wall XD LOVED the looks of the boys faces when he said he hoped the wall was high enough! -last but not least: ROBB STARK aka the Young Wolf is entering the game of thrones bitches! :smug: Kuddos to Richard Madden for portraying so well Robb vulnerability and badassery, best quote of this week: "Tell Lord Tywin winter is coming for him.
