It cross the pound but I listen to a rock radio station though...I never heard it on 'general' airwaves :/ I love sad songs too but I have to be in the mood for it! Howling Bells!! I've heard them a few times on several mix and I've liked what I've heard so far. Should definitively dig further! Again, thx a lot!! A lot of tunes will go in mp3 player *w*

My review: 1-Beginning could have been a Beatles song then the chorus unleash. It's warm and upbeat. It's a great song, I really like it! 2-Upbeat song, sound kinda like Brandon Flowers but I don't think it's him though...Radio friendly and easy to the ear! 3-Catchy pop-rock song with an 80's feeling though it! Kinda like A-Ha! I've heard this one on the radio *recognize the chorus* but I don't know who sings this. I like it. 4-a lovely ballad starting with piano. I *think* it's Regina Spektor but I don't know that song. It's lovely, I like it (and her actually). 5-Starting with piano again but violins ang electric guitars kicks in to give an 'edgy' sound. Male singing. A nice rock song (like the violin) 6-Great drums and guitar, deep male voice: rock on baby! Dunno who this is but it's catchy! Would gladly jump to it in festivals! 7-starting with people wistling and nice guitar. It has a "indian american" feel. Vocals are both male and female. The chorus rings vaguely a bell but I can't put my finger on it. 8-The start of the song reminds me of Mew but with a singer with a deeper voice, the rest is nice to listen to. Not that found of it though. 9-Catchy rock song and radio friendly. The singer's voice is kinda 'old'...I would say someone in his 40's? 10-nice rock ballad with piano. Not too fond with the singer voice but I like the melody (again, love the violin that kicks in at times) 11-This song has a 'I'm from Barcelona' feeling. Nice but that's a song I will probably forget easily. 12-There's a fiiiiire starting in my heaarrrt....AHHHH ADELE!!! (I've put her in my mix too with 'set fire to the rain' :p) Here's it's "Rolling in the deep'! I LOVE that song: the drums, her powerfull voice...<3 I always turn up the volume max and karaoke to it each time I hear it on the radio or when I play the CD XD! 13-The kind of song that could easily fit in TV shows like Skins or so soundtrack! Like it! 14-Female singer (like the clapping at the beginning), very lovely song, I love the feeling that runs through it (don't know how to describe it but I like it!). 15-A nice song with Beatlesly vibes. Not too found of it. 16- XDD... That's not supposed to be funny sorry but this song is used in France for a commercial (an internet offer if I'm not mistaken)...so well...it's linked to that in my mind! Overall, I really liked it!! The kind of music I enjoy listening too! Thx a lot! Can't wait to know who sings what!

First episode out in the US and the UK (on Sky). What can I say?!!! HBO did with GoT what Peter Jackson did with Lord of the Rings: a true epic, faithfull rendition of the book! It's a feast for the eyes! The writing is superb and really do justice to Martin's original work. To sum up: it IS the book brought to life and the casting couldn't be more perfect! The season 4 DVDs!!!! :smug: I waited a year and a half for the S3 one and S4 (which is still not aired in France) is already out.... :inquisitive: I still don't understand my country :lol: But hey, now I can watch it on my big TV flat screen :bomb: Haven't finished to watch episode 3 of the Borgias...Still bores me greatly. Game of Thrones is beginning tomorrow (Have created a thread on its own to not pollute this one). I'm super excited! I've started reading the books and it's mindblowing! @Malcom: SP has a "gift" for writing song that rings a bell.... Maybe because Gary's songwriting is based on his personnal life, that's why it's sound so 'true' and you can identify yourself. His writing is 'simple' but just straight to the point. Your story is very touching and it's cool SP can get you through it :) New post from gL!!!
