  1. What? No song I have ever downloaded from iTunes has been 128kbps... The lowest I've ever seen from iTunes is 256 which is just fine. Unless you're using studio monitor headphones or something, you're not going to notice a difference.
  2. Here you go, Brother. [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR7506-Professional-Diaphragm-Headphone/dp/B000AJIF4E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1315627629&sr=8-1]Amazon.com: Sony MDR7506 Professional Large Diaphragm Headphone: Electronics[/ame]
  3. Lol just making a point, mate :]. Yeah I looked into the MDR 7506's but they're not as comfortable as my ATH M50's. Anyway, back on topic. I'm in love with these 30 seconds!!!
  4. I listened to this through my AKG K518's and my Audio-Technica ATH M50's and trust me, there's no autotune in this track. If there was, I would be able to hear it.
  5. I hate when people use the X&Y comparison for length. X&Y wasn't weak because of it's length. It was weak because the band was in a rough patch and wasn't as musically focused as they are now. With all the hard work, focus, and dedication they've put into meticulously crafting this album, I have no worries about its length/cohesiveness.
  6. Then when you put the album in iTunes, just delete that track...

Wow there's even a track on that album called "Gone Up in Flames".
  8. The only thing that annoys me is that in the main riff, you strummed all of the notes that are meant to be hammer-ons. It would have been perfect otherwise.
  9. Wow this is absolutely the best Charlie Brown cover I've heard. Great job, mate.
  10. This is my thinking as well. As long as we get it in some shape or form, I'll be happy, whether it's on the album or as a single/b-side.
  11. These might be dead on.
  12. I don't know if you've all noticed yet but the Coldplay shop has been updated quite a bit! It has an all new look and all new MX-era merchandise. Among this new merchandise is a T-Shirt depicting the "Running Man" or "Fuzzy Man", as some have dubbed it. Now I don't know about you, but this has me almost completely convinced that "Hurts Like Heaven" will be released in some shape or form. Whether it be as a single, b-side, or a part of the actual album, I'm not sure but I have a feeling it is definitely coming at this point. The running man has always been displayed during live performances of "Hurts Like Heaven" and therefore has always been associated with the track. If the band sees the running man as integral enough to this era to be "t-shirted" then perhaps they consider the track to be as important. People were concerned when the running man was nowhere to be found on the album artwork. They took it as a potential sign that the track may be left off, and they could be right. The t-shirt could simply have been made in remembrance of the running man's appearance at festivals, but I doubt it. Does this give anyone besides me more hope that a studio version of "Hurts Like Heaven" is coming?
  13. The chorus of Lovers in Japan ("they are turning" etc...) is also the same chord progression as The Scientist in a different key and tempo. This sort of thing happens all the time. Amazing how many different-sounding songs you can make with one chord progression.
  14. YES! God, I hope this happens lol.
  15. I hear "Light a fire up out o' spark".
  16. I suppose it could be. Then again, maybe not.
  17. THANK you. Sheesh. :mean:
  18. When you really think about it though, this backwater thinking is getting kind of silly. If it fits with the theme of the album and it's a great track then include it. Why limit yourself with frustrating rules that you yourself made up? If the song fits and makes for a better album then why leave it off? All that frustration over some insignificant, made-up time constraint.
  19. Holy crap I didn't even realize I did this! Hahaha, wow total fail!
  20. I certainly hope so. The band has been opening every show with it, I mean heck, they opened Glastonbury with it. That's gotta say something about it's album-worthiness.
  21. Yeah, it was just a joke number he spat out off the top of his head.
  22. You know how many lawsuits there'd be by then?!
  23. I hear it, but it's pronounced differently than I had imagined. I hear "MY-lo xy-LO-to". Edit: Actually this leads me to conclude that he is in fact not saying "Mylo Xyloto". The band confirmed in handwriting on the front page of the official Coldplay website that it is pronounced thusly: "MY-lo ZY-letoe".
  24. Haha it's all good, but anyway I guess we won't know for sure until later tonight. I'll be at work (in front of a computer) all night so I'll be here when the news breaks, whatever it ends up being.
