  1. I have this feeling as well.
  2. So it's pretty much the exact same length/setup as VLVODAAHF. I can deal with that.
  3. The crowd cheered way too loud when the other band members came out and Will started singing.
  4. Wow, it just got real man. This is a pleasure, I'm so glad I'm here to see this.
  5. Lol holy crap, I saw it coming and was like "nooooooooooooooooooooo" But I couldn't stop it.
  6. I asked a question asking for clarification on this actually and she never answered it. She seemed to imply it was longer but I have a feeling that she didn't mean to imply this.
  7. I keep seeing this guy. Probably the only real Coldplay fan in the crowd haha. He seemed to know the lyrics to "Hurts Like Heaven" so I wouldn't be surprised if he's a Coldplayer haha.
  8. Wow that actually makes sense. And just like that, I dig the title.
  9. I'm listening to it as I'm typing this through my Audio Technica ath m50 cans at the highest quality vbr I could get my hands on and I can safely say there are no wa's to be heard. He sings "it was a wah-ah-ah-ah-aterfall".
  10. I understand that but clearly that's not what he's singing, which is why I am confused and made this thread... The official lyrics are, well, wrong? :shocked2:
  11. Is anyone gonna share the songs throughout the week? :) Especially Charlie Brown... ;P

Oh morning come bursting, the clouds they mend, Lift off this blindfold, let me see again, And bring back the water, let your ships roll in. In my heart you left a hole. The tightrope that I'm walking just sways in tides, The devil as he's talking with those angel's eyes, And I just want to be there when the lightning strikes, And the saints go marching in. And sing slow it down... Through chaos as it swirls, It's us against the world. Like a river to a raindrop, I lost a friend, My drunken has a Daniel in a lion's den, (this makes no sense but it's what I hear) And tonight I know it all has to begin again, So whatever you do, don't let go, And if we could float away, Fly up to the surface and just start again, And lift off before trouble just erodes us in the rain, Just erodes us in the rain, Just erodes us and see roses in the rain... (I'm pretty sure this is a play on how similar the two phrases sound) Sing slow it down... Sing slow it down... Through chaos as it swirls, It's just us against the world. Through chaos as it swirls, It's just us against the world.
  13. Really? I just don't hear it at all... And honestly, I'm glad because that sounds like it would be really cheesy.
  14. Good point about the video. I didn't even think about that... Coldplay's music doesn't exactly ooze sexuality so it wouldn't really be a good fit.
  15. Excuse me? At least I'm not freaking out about how "bad" a song that I haven't even heard yet is. Anyway... According to Debs the song is great so that's got me excited. I've never had anything against Rihanna either so I think I'll dig it. Hopefully...
  16. I hope people share this. It sucks living in the U.S. sometimes.
  17. My thing is, Chris chose Rihanna because she has a great voice, not because he is in love with her music and wants to collaborate with her creatively. Rihanna had no say in what went into the song or the composition of the music. She's just singing what Coldplay tells her to sing because they like her voice. This isn't them writing a song with her or collaborating on any deep level. It's really not as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be.
  18. I just don't hear it... What I hear sounds more like: "It was a wa-ah-ah-ah-aterfall, a wa-ah-ah-ah-aterfall". I don't hear the w's. Does anyone else hear it this way?
  19. I honestly feel sorry for most of you coldplayers. Don't get me wrong, not in the douchebag elitist sort of way. I mean I honestly feel bad that apparently none of you guys are digging Coldplay's new material. It makes me sad to think that a lot of you feel betrayed right now, that really sucks and you deserve better. That said, I can honestly say I've loved the crap out of everything they've released so far! But maybe it's time for some of you to give up on the idea of Coldplay "returning to roots" and just accept that they've changed. Change is part of life and part of a band's growth. Sometimes it's more drastic, other times more subtle. But honestly, with the progression from album to album that we've had so far, I'm not as surprised as some of you about where this album is going. I just hope you can either learn to appreciate it or move on to a different band that is more to your liking. I am genuinely sorry :/.
