  1. Ooh, Guy's in quite a conundrum! :D Keep going! I finally read the remainder of See You Soon! Beautiful story and fantastic work on the whole thing! :):):) Still have a few more fics to catch up on. ;)
  2. Damn, missed the disturbing emoticon fun. Eden Martin? Not bad! And not too common or too uncommon! :) But if it were a boy, we'd need to pull from elsewhere in the Bible. Elijah? Goliath? Abel? (Apple & Abel? Talk about confusing.) Oh, how I love intrusive tabloid speculation! :D
  3. Colbert I'm really slacking on my TV-watching. :P

Both true and false. True in that the "craze" or "fad" is long dead. You don't see hour-long lines for cards anymore. False in that as a franchise, Pokemon continues to sell like hotcakes. The recent Diamond/Pearl games have sold 17 million copies worldwide. Also, Cobalt just gained a bunch of respect in my books to cancel out whatever respect he just lost from others. :P

  8. Another one friends got me to watch the other night: Burn After Reading: 8/10 Confusing as hell, and you're left pondering what just happened hours after the movie ends. but actually very clever in retrospect, with some superb acting and tongue-in-cheek humor. It's not laugh-out-loud humor; rather it's the kind that makes you think.

I dunno, like everyone, the original pack holds sentimental value to me, but in retrospect, they had some fairly generic designs. While a few latter designs are rather ridiculous, they've also come up with some really creative spins. Haven't bought any cards in at least 5 years, though I'm sure most people stopped way earlier than that. :P
  10. So I'm trying to convince my dad to take our annual vacation to perhaps D.C. the first week I'm off for summer break so that it's not too hot and it doesn't conflict with my work schedule. What I haven't told him yet is that it's just a (expensive and long-winded) set-up to get to see another Coldplay show. :laugh3::sneaky:

  13. 6.3 is only a decent quake, but in a region like this, it can be very deadly. It seems the body count is now approaching 300, which is a bit scary knowing that earthquakes can be quite a bit more powerful than 6.3. No doubt there will be some rebuilding precautions, but it may take a while just to clear out the debris. Apparently the aftershocks have been nothing to scoff at and some more damage is still being done from them. Even in tough economic times globally, we can at least rest assured knowing that we're still charitable people. ;)
  14. Decided to bump this seeing as how the series has less than a month of life left. M'kay, so just 4 episodes left now! We had a few intern-focused episodes that were kinda dull, but now we're finally back to wrapping up the main stories. The most recent episode took place in the Bahamas and will continue there this week as it's a multi-part episode. If you've missed a lot, Cox/Jordan are looking into getting re-married, Carla/Turk are having a second baby, the Janitor gets married this coming week, and Elliot has now confessed her love to J.D. We're also supposedly gonna get some closure with Kim.

I played Pearl for DS and clocked in days worth of time. I am totally not ashamed. :laugh3:
  16. I Love You, Man - 7/10 The cheap comedy is usually mixed with some pretty funny stuff, so it could have been much worse. Great actors and not too crude either. Not a movie you want to bring a date to, though, and probably more for the guys. Just bring a friend or two.
  17. Very random. :inquisitive: Will's next on July 31st, so that's a good 2.5 months to get some ideas.

  20. Happy birthday Guy! I'm celebrating your birth on the same day I'm celebrating Jesus' resurrection! Just as our Lord and Savior came back to life, may your own life be fulfilling! And...have some good drinks! :wink3:;):D
