I'm not a big fan of MadTV and I won't miss it (yes, it's been cancelled), but I did enjoy their music video parodies, these included. Nobody should take them seriously and you can get a good laugh from them. :laugh3:

So Will truly is becoming a flambuoyant, homosexual drummer who wears outrageous clothes and says outrageous things, just like Chris suggested? I kid, I kid. We've been hearing about so much experimental material that the band is working on that I hope they at least include some classic roots in this following album. That and I don't need actual rave music to totally rave at one of their concerts. :laugh3:

Checking out Coldplay.com's discography, it seems the official lyrics do indeed use "was". Huh. Been singing it a little wrong all this time then. Thanks for the unintended eye-opener, everyone! :laugh3:

I'm no grammar cop, but if you try flipping the words as "Love is all you ever wanted", it starts to make more sense. In fact, the word 'have' may be left out, so if we throw that in there, it's now "Love is all you have ever wanted". Now it's Present Perfect or whatever. Like I said, I'm no teacher or grammar professional, but I think it's okay as is. If it's wrong, then so is Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence with "All I ever wanted, all I ever needed is here in my arms".

Isn't Muse's version of Feeling Good a cover, though? That may soften the blow of any Idol "butchering".

I got off the phone with my mom, and she's unnecessarily freaking out! :confused: Reports are now saying that the deaths in Los Angeles are not related to swine flu, as they have been tested and came up negative. It's not 100% certainty, but it's now a strong likelihood that they are not related to the strain.

While driving home today, I took a quick, low-quality, camera phone pic of what may possibly be the greatest truck ever: If you can't make it out, the truck reads "THE BERRY MAN, INC." I could not help but smile the whole time I was following it! :D:lol: The man driving the truck looked nothing like Guy, though. :confused:

I both enjoy and despise Green Day depending on what aspect we're talking about. As for this particular topic, "Viva la..." is used for so many things, and well before Coldplay got around to it, for that matter.

Granted, this strain of flu probably doesn't have enough known about it yet to be properly compared to standard flu or even past swine flu outbreaks. That said, I'm not gonna hit the panic button, even being close to Mexico. Heck, I don't even think people should stop eating pork. Rather, this is a good time for everybody to check their precautions, restock on simple meds (don't rush the doctor offices), and KEEP GOOD HYGIENE. Cleanliness is the greatest flu prevention technique.

Holy cow, that bit they added at the end is amazing. I enjoy the song in its original form too, but this version is stellar. If this is the last single from the album and is indeed the last bit of Snow Patrol we'll be hearing for quite a while, I'm happy to say it goes out with a bang. Really hope this charts.

I may have been able to forgive the list if it were "Top 7 Overrated Dancers". But it's not, and combined with the inclusion of Bono (who is compared to a "sheep singing in a shower"), it is obviously fail material. Granted, these types of unprofessional lists are merely par-for-the-course by this point. :confused:

On one more CP-related note, I got my California special election absentee ballot in the mail today, and the lead proposition is entitled the "Rainy Day Budget Stabilization". It's a horrible measure and I voted No, but the name still made me think of Coldplay. :lol:
