Yeah, I totally lied a few weeks ago when I said it wouldn't be too Chris/Jonny-heavy. Anyways, here's the epic Chapter 4. I say "epic" because I think it turned out to be my favorite chapter...just when you thought things couldn't possibly get more ridiculous.

I admit; I snorted out loud. :laugh3: From the sounds of things, it seems as if the band is pretty serious about putting full effort into this album. Not that Atomic Bomb necessarily...uh...bombed, per se, but U2 clearly wants to be acclaimed as kings once again. We'll see if that holds any merit...

Okay, I'm feeling nice tonight, so here's Chapter 3, in which we get a (sort of) reunion.

Bah, I give up, but I'm short on time now also. Weaseled my way from Kanye West to Taylor Swift to the Jonas Brothers to finally the Jonas Bros at the AMA's, hoping to finally link to Coldplay there. But instead, I got stuck in an endless loop of romantic Taylor Swift/Jonas Bros. mish-mashes and whatnot. I'll try again later if I get so bored.

It's actually fully written already. I'm just spacing out the postings. Chapter 3 may be up tonight if I feel like it. Glad you guys are enjoying it. No worries; Liam's swear-ridden antics become even more over-the-top as time goes on. :laugh3:

Oh dear, people, you haven't seen how random it gets yet! Here's Part 2, which introduces some fun faces and really increases the level of profanities with a certain...character. Teehee. This one's all Chris, as he takes the "Dorothy" role with the story finally taking off. And I needed some villain characters, so I...umm..."borrowed" from "elsewhere". Heh heh...

8.5 Don't Panic

Okay, I've held back long enough. It's been in the works for three weeks and is finally finished, broken up into seven chapters. Long story short, it's a completely nonsensical take on The Wizard of Oz with your favorite Coldplay members, along with some fun guests along the way. It's not the most original idea, but it's so over-the-top that I had a lot of fun with it. Oh yeah, Guy gets abused throughout the story. A LOT. Anyways, here's Chapter 1. It's not as humorous as later chapters, as I am still figuring out what personality I want each band member to have at this point, and it's very light on profanities compared to later, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.

8 Strawberry Swing

Honestly, I think the Katy Perry video may be better than VLV's video, though neither are that fantastic. The one for Lovers in Japan beats them both, however.

I have undeniable evidence that Corey Taylor never really listened to the album: If he truly did listen, wouldn't his entire head have swelled up and burst due to it being his first-ever exposure to quality sound?

I was temporarily out of the Coldplay loop for a bit, as it was before I became...how you say..."hardcore" by reading the official site and fansites constantly and whatnot. I was a "casual" fan and just knew they were coming out with a new album. So I fell in love with Viva (the song) upon a first listen, then looked online only to discover that they had released another new song not too long ago! So yeah. I heard Viva La Vida before I heard Violet Hill. But it was that late discovery that prompted me to become more "in-tune" with the online Coldplay world.

10 (Chris would be a 7, FYI) What If

Yeah, most like "Lovers in Japan", "The Scientist", and even "Viva La Vida" are actually better titled how they are than if you were to pull any of their lyrics out. I've seen several people misname "Don't Panic" as "Beautiful World", which admittedly would not be horrible. Only other two I can think of that would sound decent: The World Turned Upside Down = Everything Under the Sun X&Y = Drifting

The final shove, people. I've done all I can, but call your friends who you know that like Coldplay better than Green Day and let's make a last minute comeback. ;) And if we fall, well...hot damn did we make them fight for it. They won't forget it easily. ;) EDIT: Slipping slightly. Let's pull the fanbase together now!

Eep, still 50/50. We folks in the Americas were able to hold 'em off at a stalemate today, and now it's up to you Europeans to push us over the top!

Eep, we were down at 39%, though we're rallying back. Let's keep this thing rolling.

9.5 (Not a 10. Lynch me.) Got Put a Smile Upon Your Face

Well, the shoe-throw attack only has 50% accuracy, so it has a fairly high miss ratio even when done twice consecutively. Really, the "Too-bad-he-missed" people need to calm down, and I'm not just talking about this forum. The guy's gone in a month. Give it a rest already.
