  1. Yeah. That's right.....it's aspartame which is in many, many other products that are "sugar free". Shit! Glad that one was thrown out! Sick Eugenicists are all over the world, I guess. Could you pass on any articles/info you can find on that to me? (I'll look myself but you might know some other places to search)
  2. Yeah. Last album really did some damage. Really sickening songs like Fix You, What If, X&Y, A Message, The Hardest Part, Twisted logic were the final straw. I'm also a big Radiohead fan and a musician (and that matters, well, makes a difference I think). So Coldplay were doing interesting things on Pararchutes - in terms melodies as well as decent musical ambition (slightly odd chords & clever use of them - which helped their writing seem fresh & distinct) AROBTTH moved towards more mainstream pop but had some great songs too. Now they are too safe, too similar to many bands and they NEED to move things forward on their next album or their fanbase will be solely comprised of young girls and die hard idiots like you see at Oasis gigs.

  5. World Elects Ron Paul! Since the Youtube Debate is on tonight (1am in the UK) on CNN I thought I'd push the Ron Paul thread again!!! World Elects Ron Paul! Vast majority in worldwide online poll say they would elect Ron Paul as the next president of the USA A website which has collected over 72,000 votes from people in countries all over the world has revealed that the vast majority would elect Ron Paul if they had the opportunity to influence the 2008 US election. At time of writing, the site at www.whowouldtheworldelect.com/ has collected 72,556 votes from people in countries across the world, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and everywhere in between. The results reveal that the overwhelming favourite candidate in almost every corner of the globe is Congressman Ron Paul. Here is a list of countries Ron Paul wins the most votes in according to the site: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Andora; Barbuda, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bermuda; Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Cayman Islands, Columbia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, French Polynesia, Germany, Gibraltar, Guam, Guatemala, Guyana, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea, Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Micronesia, Moldova, Monaco, Namibia, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Occupied Palestinian Territory, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, The Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Samoa, San Marino, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Ukraine, UK, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Venezuela, Vietnam, The Virgin Islands, Wallis and Futuna Islands, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe. Out of the 72,556 votes in total, Ron Paul gets over 50% with a total of 36,902. The nearest rival is Barack Obama with close to 15,000. Dennis Kucinich gets almost 7,500 and Hillary Clinton just 3,812. (Screenshot below shows all votes). Thanks to the mathematical expertise of Jim O'Donnell over at Nolan Chart these figures translate into the following results: Republican Primary - Ron Paul wins with 88% of the vote and no other candidate is even over 3%. Total Republican votes: 41,503 Democrat Primary - Barrack Obama wins with 49%, Kucinich 24%, Clinton 12%, Gravel 7% Total Democrat votes: 30, 486 If these votes were applied to the Presidential election then Ron Paul would beat the ENTIRE Democrat field by 51% to 49%. In One on One matchups in the Presidential election here are the stunning results: Ron Paul 91% vs Hillary Clinton 9% Ron Paul 71% vs Barrack Obama 29% Ron Paul 83% vs Dennis Kucinich 17%Of course these results reflect internet users and as such do not represent an exact scientific poll, however 72,000 votes is a great deal more than the usual 1000 or so people that are normally questioned in studies by pollsters such as Gallup or Zogby. One common criticism leveled at Ron Paul is that he represents "isolationism" and his policies would be detrimental on a global scale. Clearly the majority of voters in this global survey do not agree with that assertion as they give clear endorsement to the Congressman. No doubt they agree that the real isolationists are those who continue to make America hated the world over for interfering militarily, financially and covertly in the internal affairs of other nations. The Neocon backbiters out there will no doubt declare the entire poll rigged or a set up on behalf of the Ron Paul campaign. However, the Who would the world elect website owners have been keen to dispel such assertions: Some will of course ask if it’s faked… If I actually am part of the ron paul campaign, or even if the very resourceful ron paul’ers out there have figured out how to rig the system Well let me tell you. All people involved in this are pretty left wing and we have always voted democratic and would not have a chance to vote for ron paul (we can’t vote in the republican primary and voting for a republican over a democrat for presidency would make our left leaning parents pretty sad. Also the designers of this site work for a couple of forbes 500 companies out there so you can bet your dog fluffy that no one has been able to vote twice. All data is true and provable (we are democrats here… We don’t want to win by rigging the votes) We wanted the biggest example of people from all over the world, and we seemed to have found it. There can be no doubt, Ron Paul's campaign of freedom and limited government, along with his strong anti-war and non-interventionist foreign policy, resonates the world over.
  6. Well, I don't drink it now - which is hard because I love Salior Jerry Rum and Coke. It's the best. Bugger! So, Neat it is then.

  9. Oh, that's sick. There's no doubt.....Food is a major weapon.
  10. Yeah, the E numbers are the additive codes. It's mostly a European thing. Although, as you say, other countries do have them in - just the label won't carry the E Numbers and instead have the scientific term which can often be quite long.....although still easy to find on the site as they give both.
  11. I agree. 1 - I haven't seen it, no. I know of it though... and 2 - Neil Hannon (The Divine Comedy) wrote those simple words - from a song called Dumb it Down.
  12. When you look at the E numbers on the side of food packaging write them down and check the known side effects out on www.ukfoodguide.net - you'll feel ill. It's all about keeping us down and stupid. You've got a personality We'll throw you in the sea and watch you drown Dumb it down Your concentration span's too long It's longer than this song, that's not allowed Dumb it down You don't need books to know what's what We'll pile them up and burn them to the ground Dumb it down And if you say that we're corrupt We'll round you up and run you out of town Dumb it down Down and down and down it goes Where it stops nobody knows And not a lot of people seem to care Well it's so crazy, it's so great We can all communicate But no one's saying anything out there Is there anybody out there? Intelligence is dangerous A virus of the brain you pass around Dumb it down We'll vaccinate each boy and girl Lobotomise the world through sight and sound Dumb it down No one can tell you what to think And if you think that's true then you're a clown Dumb it down 'Cause freedom's wasted on the free You just don't see the beauty all around Dumb it down Down and down and down we slide It's too tricky to decide Between channels one and sixty-three 'Cause everything is mindless fluff Like this world's not dumb enough Does anybody feel the same as me? Is there anybody listening?
  13. Basically Aspartame is used as an artificial sweetener in thousands of products. Big companies and governments always state that it's fine for you and major newspapers/TV always back these studies while failing to mention ALL the other studies that point to aspartame causing health problems. Numerous independent controlled studies (not ones conducted by corporations or government) using human subjects have concluded that aspartame is deadly. They are Camfield (1992), Elsas (1988), Gulya (1992), Koehler (1988), Kulczycki (1995), Spiers (1988), Van Den Eeden (1994), Walton (1993)......... The fact that "out of 90 independently-funded studies, 83 of them found one or more problems caused by aspartame. But out of the 74 studies funded by the aspartame industry (e.g., Monsanto, G.D. Searle, ILSI, etc.), every single one of them claimed that no problems were found?" Having the federal government conduct studies that heavily impact profits of major corporations depending on the results and calling them independent is like Charles Manson being judged by Jeffrey Dahmer. In the 21st century of corporate fascism the two are inseparable from one another. Futhermore, the FDA has been caught in the past removing negative data from government studies that indicated aspartame was dangerous to humans. According to consumer rights group Mission Possible, "Since its 1981 approval, the FDA has published a list of 92 symptoms of aspartame poisoning, which includes headaches, vision loss including blindness, seizures, neurological problems, cardiovascular problems and death. The FDA admits adverse reactions to aspartame comprise about 80 percent of consumer complaints it receives each year." Proponents of aspartame are like the idiots in the 50's who said there were no health dangers in smoking. Moves by British parliamentarians and bills such as one in New Mexico in the US calling for the outright banning of aspartame in all foods should be supported and this poison-peddling industry shut down. There is a film made about Aspartame called "Sweet Misery - A Poisoned World"..... Here... Sweet Misery - A Poisoned World - Aspartame Cancer http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-566922170441334340 Excellent documentary showing how dangerous artificial sweetner Aspartame is. From its history, to its effects this video is enough to shock anyone into really looking at there food labels next time they shop. Aspartame is a toxic food that came into the world as an investment By Donald Rumsfeld, while ignoring the deadly effects the tests showed. Take a good look at this video, it could save lives.
  14. You know, he's actually right. I see a "touch of fruit bottle" there. Bad stuff.....Aspartame! But yes, filtered water is best.... Just make sure you have a decent filter. Like these...... http://www.berkeywater.com/ Fantastic.
  15. No no no. It is bad. They only reason people are drinking it is because....well....because people are drinking it. It's only on the shelves all over because it's popular. When you see the super huge rise in health problems like diabetes in the past few decades then you should get a sense of where this is going......dead people and lots of them. As was pointed out earlier......even when people THINK they have switched to healthier alternatives, they haven't - most times. Our toxic foods are making people stupid, causing massive social problems and making rich people even more money........while humanity slowly crumbles & ultimately dies. I know that sounds like it might be an overstatement but in truth I think it's an understatement. And back onto soft drinks - people who think "diet" coke etc. is better...then think again - it's worse. Aspartame! Really, just stop eating/drinking bad, bad foods - and this includes 99% of soft drinks.
  16. What Happens To Your Body If You Drink A Coke Right Now? by Wade Meredith on December 8th, 2006 * Have you ever wondered why Coke comes with a smile? It’s because it gets you high. They took the cocaine out almost a hundred years ago. You know why? It was redundant. In The First 10 minutes: 10 teaspoons of sugar hit your system. (100% of your recommended daily intake.) You don’t immediately vomit from the overwhelming sweetness because phosphoric acid cuts the flavor allowing you to keep it down. 20 minutes: Your blood sugar spikes, causing an insulin burst. Your liver responds to this by turning any sugar it can get its hands on into fat. (There’s plenty of that at this particular moment) 40 minutes: Caffeine absorption is complete. Your pupils dilate, your blood pressure rises, as a response your livers dumps more sugar into your bloodstream. The adenosine receptors in your brain are now blocked preventing drowsiness. 45 minutes: Your body ups your dopamine production stimulating the pleasure centers of your brain. This is physically the same way heroin works, by the way. >60 minutes: The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc in your lower intestine, providing a further boost in metabolism. This is compounded by high doses of sugar and artificial sweeteners also increasing the urinary excretion of calcium. >60 Minutes: The caffeine’s diuretic properties come into play. (It makes you have to pee.) It is now assured that you’ll evacuate the bonded calcium, magnesium and zinc that was headed to your bones as well as sodium, electrolyte and water. >60 minutes: As the rave inside of you dies down you’ll start to have a sugar crash. You may become irritable and/or sluggish. You’ve also now, literally, pissed away all the water that was in the Coke. But not before infusing it with valuable nutrients your body could have used for things like even having the ability to hydrate your system or build strong bones and teeth. This will all be followed by a caffeine crash in the next few hours. (As little as two if you’re a smoker.) But, hey, have another Coke, it’ll make you feel better. *FYI: The Coke itself is not the enemy, here. It’s the dynamic combo of massive sugar doses combined with caffeine and phosphoric acid. Things which are found in almost all soda.
  17. Of course....The Internet in General does "sick days" so much better than daytime TV. Where on daytime TV could you see a vertically challenged woman have such huge fun with a Afrcian American? See....Daytime TV? The games up! By the way - this whole post was completely made up. Honest. Scouts Honour. Dib Dib fucking Dib.
  18. Alleged Trainer Of 9/11 Hijackers a CIA Informant Alleged Trainer Of 9/11 Hijackers a CIA Informant Sakka attempts to plug holes in 9/11 official story, claims Hanjour did not pilot Flight 77 Tuesday, November 27, 2007 The man who claims to have trained six of the 9/11 hijackers is a paid CIA informant according to Turkish intelligence specialists, who also assert that Al-Qaeda is merely the name of a secret service operation designed to foment a strategy of tension around the world. In a London Times report, Louai al-Sakka, now incarcerated in a high-security Turkish prison 60 miles east of Istanbul, claims that he trained six of the 9/11 hijackers at a camp in the mountains near Istanbul from 1999-2000. Sakka was imprisoned in 2005 after being caught making bombs that he planned to use to blow up Israeli vessels. Sakka asserts that he is a leading Al-Qaeda operative, having directed insurgency attacks in Iraq and also the beheading of Briton Kenneth Bigley in October 2004. Some of Sakka’s account is corroborated by the US government’s 9/11 Commission. It found evidence that four of the hijackers – whom Sakka says he trained – had initially intended to go to Chechnya from Turkey but the border into Georgia was closed. Sakka had prepared fake visas for the group’s travel to Pakistan and arranged their flights from Istanbul’s Ataturk airport. The group of four went to the al-Farouq camp near Kandahar and the other two to Khaldan, near Kabul, an elite camp for Al-Qaeda fighters. When Moqed and Suqami returned to Turkey, Sakka employed his skills as a forger to scrub out the Pakistani visa stamps from their passports. This would help the Arab men enter the United States without attracting suspicion that they had been to a training camp. "But, as with many things in the world of Al-Qaeda, there might be smoke and mirrors," reports the Times. "Some experts believe that Sakka could be overstating his importance to the group, possibly to lay a false track for western agencies investigating his terrorist colleagues." However, when one considers what other experts have said about Sakka, it appears that his intentions towards "western agencies" are anything but deceptive - since Turkish intelligence analysts concluded that Sakka has been a CIA asset all along. Prominent Turkish newspaper Zaman reported that Sakka was hired as a CIA informant in 2000, after receiving a large sum of money from the agency. This would explain why he was "captured" but then released on two separate occasions by the CIA during the course of 2000. Sakka was later captured by Turkish intelligence but again ordered to be released after which he moved to Germany to assist the alleged 9/11 hijackers. Shortly before 9/11, Sakka was allegedly hired by Syrian intelligence - to whom he gave a warning that the attacks were coming on September 10th, 2001. In his book At the Center of the Storm, former CIA director George Tenet writes, that “a source we were jointly running with a Middle Eastern country went to see his foreign handler and basically told him something big was about to go down.” "This is very likely a reference to Sakra, since no one else comes close to matching the description of telling a Middle Eastern government about the 9/11 attacks one day in advance, not to mention working as an informant for the CIA at the same time. Tenet’s revelation strongly supports the notion that Sakra in fact accepted the CIA’s offers in 2000 and had been working with the CIA and other intelligence agencies at least through 9/11 ," writes 9/11 researcher Paul Thompson, who was also interviewed for the London Times article. Were the alleged "interrogations" of Sakka on behalf of the CIA merely a smokescreen to enable instructions to be passed on? This is certainly the view of Turkish intelligence experts, who go further and conclude that "Al-Qaeda" as a whole is merely a front group for western intelligence agencies used to foment a "strategy of tension" around the world. Is Sakka still in the employ of western intelligence agencies? His apparent effort to plug the holes in the official 9/11 story is fascinating. According to Sakka, Nawaf al-Hazmi was a veteran operative who went on to pilot the plane that hit the Pentagon. Although this is at odds with the official account, which says the plane was flown by another hijacker, it is plausible and might answer one of the mysteries of 9/11. The Pentagon plane performed a complex spiral dive into its target. Yet the pilot attributed with flying the plane (Hani Hanjour) “could not fly at all” according to his flight instructors in America. Hazmi, on the other hand, had mixed reviews from his instructors but they did remark on how “adept” he was on his first flight. Exactly how "adept" one has to be to pull off maneuvers that would be impossible for veteran crack fighter pilots is not explored in the Times report. 19. Wow, that is early - and it looks great. I hope I don't have to wait much longer. December isn't too far away of course.
  20. You plant a seed.....and watch it grow. :)
  21. Yeah. Music wise it's just going to be the old catalogue. I actually am not sure how successful they would be. I think a large proportion of people have had just about enough of the absolute bullshit that the Jackson family have ended up splashing all over our lives....whether it's their own doing or the media speculation, enough is enough and everyones tired of it. Sure, some good music has been created but I really think they've gone beyond famous now and many people can't be bothered anymore. Plus - everyone knows it's just for money & fame - and the fact that Michael has made some horrible music in more recent years doesn't help.
  22. Jackson Five 'could tour in 2008' The band's hits include ABC and I Want You Back The Jackson Five are to reunite for a tour, with Michael Jackson set to take part, brother Jermaine has said. He told BBC 6 Music that concert dates have been discussed and could take place "sometime in 2008". "Michael will be involved," the singer and guitarist confirmed. "We feel we have to do it one more time. We owe that to the fans and to the public. " The group last toured as The Jacksons - with six members - in support of the Victory album in 1984. Lead singer Michael, who had already released the million-selling Thriller album, was reportedly reluctant to go on the road with his brothers. He told the audience on the last night of the tour that he was leaving the group. Michael will be involved - he was at the meetings Jermaine Jackson They released one more album, 1989's 2300 Jackson Street, before formally disbanding in 1990. Rumours of a reunion have circulated for years, and Jermaine confirmed that the project was delayed by Michael's trial for child abuse in 2005. "There's been so much going on, getting over all the hurdles that we all were faced with during Michael's trial," he told the station's The Music Week programme. "But we are stronger than ever. I'm gonna say thank you, thank you, thank you so much to all the fans and the supporters of my family all over Europe, all over the UK especially, who came out to show their love and their support." New material Jermaine, who sang lead vocals for the band until his younger brother took over, added that Michael would definitely be part of the reunion. "He has to be," he said. "He is a Jackson." "He was at the meetings. Michael will be involved." The star also hinted at new material, saying that the band was "in the studio at the moment". The Jacksons - featuring brothers Tito, Marlon, Jackie, Jermaine, Michael and Randy, found fame in the 1970s with hits such as I Want You Back, ABC and Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground) and Can You Feel It. Michael's success eclipsed that of his brothers in the 1980s, while sister Janet also rose to prominence - racking up seven US top ten singles from her Rhythm Nation 1814 album. In the UK, Jermaine Jackson was seen as a contestant on this year's Celebrity Big Brother. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7113211.stm
