  2. And they have nuclear weapons. Yeah, I know that silly......but this story is too.
  3. Raping American Sovereignty and a North American Union Dana Gabriel Stop Lying.ca Monday November 12, 2007 It is becoming harder to chronicle the treasonous, dirty, despicable acts perpetrated by our government. Our sovereignty should not be given away, nor should it be for sale to the highest bidder as it is something to protect and it further defines us as a nation. The enemies of sovereignty are many and some include the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP), the World Trade Organization (WTO), the North American Free Trade Agreement, (NAFTA), and the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA). Our government is in collusion with powerful private corporate interests, and they are working together to create a North American Union. Every nation has the right and duty to protect its citizens, and it ceases to exist as a sovereign independent country if it fails to defend and control its own national borders. Multinational corporations view borders as barriers to increased profits and envision a world without them. Much of America's key infrastructure has been sold or is being leased to foreign corporations. We are surrendering our sovereignty, and the corporate takeover of America is almost complete. Some will have us believe that doing away with our sovereignty will bring big rewards and will benefit all. Tell that to the middle class and working poor. The result of globalization has meant that we have exchanged self-sufficiency, independence, and sovereignty for dependency. The WTO serves as a middleman, forcing nations to change its laws and brings unwanted meddling in domestic affairs. It severely undermines national sovereignty and allows for the domination of trade policies by multinational corporations. The WTO has given free reign and granted entrenched rights to the world's largest banks and corporations. It has the power to impose sanctions and lacks any real democratic accountability with hearings and disputes conducted by secret tribunals. It also has the power to overturn sovereign nation's laws in areas of tax, labor, environment, and consumer safety. The U.S. was forced to change tax laws relating to Foreign Sales Corporations, and the WTO rules that each year the U.S. must issue at least 65,000 H-1B work visas or be fined for not allowing enough foreign labor to enter the country. With more frequency, multinational corporations are turning to the WTO in an effort to change U.S. laws including zoning laws which could be changed by international courts. Former Republican House speaker Newt Gingrich said of the WTO, “We need to be honest about the fact that we are transferring from the United States, at a practical level significant authority to a new organization.” Our own laws should never be changed or overridden by a body of unelected bureaucrats. The WTO has lead to the loss of more sovereignty and democracy which has limited our decision making. NAFTA has lead to the loss of millions of American jobs, it has created trade deficits with both Canada and Mexico and has accelerated the destruction of the middle class. NAFTA severely undermines our sovereignty and control. Under Chapter 11, new rights and privileges were granted to foreign investors operating in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. It has lead to state, provincial and municipal governments being challenged by corporations using their new rights to undermine environmental and judicial decisions. Foreign corporate investors can sue NAFTA countries for cash compensation in secret tribunals if they feel their rights have been violated. Foreign investors have been granted more rights than U.S. corporations and American citizens. CAFTA is equally as devastating, and is essentially an outsourcing agreement that will lead to the loss of more jobs and it will gut all buy American laws which give preference to local companies. Under CAFTA, multinational corporations will have the power to challenge environmental and public interests laws. It could also undermine immigration laws, giving international tribunals the power to rule over Congress. CAFTA seeks to wipe out American laws, and along with NAFTA is being used to breakdown national independence and sovereignty. It was former secretary of state Henry Kissinger who called NAFTA a step towards a New World Order. Many who view NAFTA as a success want to use it as the model for the proposed Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA), which would encompass the whole hemisphere. The North American Union is being created incrementally, using evolution by stealth, and is being done at the expense of our sovereignty. It is being created by unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats, and SPP working groups who are writing policy initiatives. One of the leading experts on the NAU Jerome Corsi said, “The SPP is creating new trilateral memoranda of understanding and mutual agreements which should be submitted to the Senate for two-thirds votes as international treaties.” He went on to say, “They are sharing their laws and regulations so we can harmonize and integrate our laws into a North American structure, not a USA structure.” Bureaucrats are able to move about almost completely undetected and with little or no scrutiny. There is a real lack of transparency which makes this whole process undemocratic. The SPP was never debated or passed by the Senate, and the American people deserve to be consulted when they are losing their sovereignty and their Constitution is being trampled upon. Those who claim that the SPP is simply about open dialogue and cooperation are being anything but honest. We're talking about political and economic integration including a single North American currency, which would mean the end of our financial sovereignty, the merging of our laws, environmental, health and safety standards, a new court and tax system, and a new NAU constitution. Under the SPP, the U.S. and Canadian military are further merging their command structures. Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul said, “Any movement toward a North American Union diminishes the ability of average Americans to influence the laws under which they must live.” Inside a NAU there is no room for American sovereignty, and how can harmonizing regulations with Mexico and Canada not undermine our independence? Bureaucrats and corporate interests are shaping our future with seemingly no oversight, and as we shed more sovereignty, we will lose the ability to govern ourselves. More and more of America's critical infrastructure, including highways, are being sold, leased, or manged by private foreign companies which constitutes a surrendering of our sovereignty. The Spanish company Cintra is financing and building the Trans-Texas-Corridor (TTC) and will lease and operate it as a toll road. Cintra-Macquaire consortium already has leases for the Indiana and Chicago Skyway toll roads. The TTC is to be the first leg of a NAFTA Superhighway and will be a borderless open transportation system that is the necessary infrastructure needed for a North American Union. Many of the trucks and freight trains filled with Chinese containers unloaded in Mexican ports will have Kansas City as a destination. To handle the increased flow of Chinese cheap goods, Kansas City will have an inland port, and part of the facility will include a Mexican customs office. It is to be staffed by Mexican government custom officials as Mexico wants the right to inspect their own trucks. More disturbing is that it is to be considered sovereign Mexican territory. Imagine a little piece of Mexico in the heartland of the United States. The Financial Services SPP working group has also outlined plans to improve Mexico's infrastructure using Canadian and American tax dollars. This will further facilitate the flow of cheap goods from China and benefit multinational corporations. All across America, already paid for roads and freeways are being converted into toll roads. Charging tolls for roads that have already been paid for is criminal, and furthermore the selling and leasing of key infrastructure to foreign interests threatens our sovereignty and security. We are witnessing the destruction of a sovereign independent America as well as the transfer of power from our elected government to unelected, accountable bureaucrats. In many cases we are already powerless and bound by international treaties, which in some cases take precedence over our own laws. Any move towards a North American Union represents a betrayal of the American people, the Constitution, self-government, freedom, independence, sovereignty, our culture, and our values. Ron Paul said of the North American Union, “The real issue is national sovereignty. Once again, decisions that affect millions of Americans are not being made by those Americans themselves, or even by their elected representatives in Congress. Instead, a handful of elites use their government connections to bypass national legislatures and ignore our Constitution.” The attack on our democracy continues, and the raping of American sovereignty has left it a shadow of its former self. We are losing our ability to control our own destiny.

  6. This story is about a report made by CNN on WWE Wresting but I am using it as an example of media lies. I'm not a Wrestling fan but I think it is important for people witness the lies. Remember that Simpsons where Homer was on "Rock Bottom" and they kept editing his answer so it looked like he was saying something else, and the clock on the wall behind him kept jumping back and forth (go here, scroll down) If you don't, watch this CNN clip. It's pretty much the same thing. Here, they interview WWE superstar John Cena, and decide his answer to "have you ever done steroids" wasn't sexy enough, so they twist it around and edit it to make his adamant "no" look like a "yes". See the unedited video and the video CNN aired here http://www.wwe.com/inside/cenaoncnn/
  7. Yeah, but not by much. Just ask an ausie.....Fosters is hated there down under. And Carling is nasty.
  8. I'd rather drink piss than go anywhere near that store brand 2% beer.
  9. Mark, I must say, you really like to camp up these threads....
  10. Why Ron Paul Can Win It All Christopher Deliso Friday November 9, 2007 Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul’s record $4.2 million fundraiser the other day was one for the record books. Even those in the mainstream media who have been consistently ridiculing him have, however begrudgingly, had to agree with that verdict. However, Dr Paul’s spectacular success may well be only a sign of things to come, and if this turns out to be the case, then even the grumpiest of GOP resisters will have to realize that Ron Paul is the only candidate who can defeat the Democrats next year. The media has, however, largely avoided considering future head-to-head match-ups. Largely because it’s primaries time, they have been devoting most of their efforts to nurturing the candidates that they (and their political-corporate owners) want to see nominated. First things first, right? But hold on one moment. Even with an endorsement from Pat Robertson, does Rudy Giuliani have solid enough conservative credentials to be the GOP nominee? Does Mitt Romney, for that matter? Are they capable of really firing up the conservative base? I think not. Ron Paul, on the other hand, offers both a message and a manner that appeal strongly to traditional conservatives. He is strongly Christian, pro-life, pro-gun ownership, pro-freedom and civil liberties, while being tough on illegal immigrants and champion of a strong national defense and secured borders. He also opposes big government and public spending, generally favoring states’ rights rather than federal control. Can the alleged "front-runners" – Giuliani and Romney – boast the same package of conservative attributes, and back it up with a fastidiously consistent voting record like that of Ron Paul? I think not. As for the latter quality, style, Ron Paul is a plain-spoken Texas country doctor, a straight-shooter who is eloquent without mincing his words, whereas Giuliani is a blowhard and a bully justifying his strengths by repeating "9/11" constantly. The American people, however, are smart enough to see through that. Romney, for his part, is not a convincing conservative, too carefully mannered and a bit foppish, just conservative enough to be elected governor of, er, Massachusetts. Nevertheless, these alleged Republican "front-runners" believe they can defeat Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. As the last congressional elections showed, the Republicans are now on the defensive and will need to siphon away as many votes as they possibly can to win. There are certainly opportunities here, but neither Giuliani nor Romney are convincing alternatives for left-leaning voters sick and tired of Hillary/Obama’s weaseling out of any commitment to end the war state, and for young people in general. Guess which Republican strongly appeals to these disaffected liberals? Yes, once again, it’s Ron Paul. And herein lies the really exciting part of the Paul candidacy, and the reason I expect the $4.2 million record will be eclipsed sooner or later by another one even bigger. Unlike most politicians, Ron Paul commands real respect and admiration from a large and very diverse group of Americans, support which is growing by the day. When people believe in a candidate, they give freely and on multiple occasions. When people are merely harangued on the phone or in the mailbox because their name happens to be on a party’s list of past supporters, they give – maybe – once or twice. True, there is massive corporate largesse on the way for the likes of Hillary and Giuliani, but still, somehow, it is individuals who vote in America, not entities. It would be very interesting to do a study of what percentage of "blank slate" voters feel, once introduced to that candidate’s positions, a strong affinity with those positions. Of course, I don’t have any such data, but from reading hundreds of comments posted under web articles and blog entries, I’d be willing to bet that the victor in such a survey would be Ron Paul. With the tremendous new publicity Ron Paul has achieved the past couple days, his message is getting out to a wider and wider audience, making his voluntary donor base larger and larger. Unlike the establishment candidates tapping into their existing lists, he is actually creating new voters. The phenomenon is self-replicating and because the message of his campaign is very appealing to so many different people, it is spread willingly and genuinely. Don’t forget that this is the post-advertising age, the age of social networks where savvy consumers no longer trust mass ads, but more often buy a product specifically on the recommendations of trusted friends. It is the same with ideological consumers in a political campaign. Here the internet has exponentially amplified the power of what the old patrician media, self-proclaimed guardians of information and the "proper" interpretation of that information, disparagingly demeans as "grassroots support" or "an internet following." This media, and the political establishment which it serves, despises nothing more than the people, and especially the young. The worst sin of Paul supporters, for the jaded media, is that they actually believe in the man; using "passion" as a descriptor in politics is ribald to the hardened cynics of the fifth estate. The supporters of this "obscure 72-year-old iconoclast" are thus passed off as "a small but impassioned group of young people," with obvious derogatory implications. The media finds it odd and amusing that voters should care about things that they’re not supposed to know about; in the present case, the Federal Reserve and national debt, things that are supposed to be ignored, and left up to the wise old men of the establishment to sort out. With the age of the internet, however, the media and the political establishment are now terrified of the ramifications of losing control of their time-honored role as shapers of public opinion. And they’re very, very confused. As Ed Rollins, a former adviser to President Reagan and manager of Ross Perot's 1992 campaign told the Washington Post, commenting on the record donation to Paul’s campaign: "…I've been in politics for 40 years, and these days everything I've learned about politics is totally irrelevant because there's this uncontrollable thing like the Internet. Washington insiders don't know what to make of it." Ron Paul and his legions of supporters, however, do know what to make of it. And here emerges another key reason why his campaign is sustainable: it’s not based, like those of the alleged "front-runners," on sheer political calculation, all too obvious in their flip-flopping, half-statements, modifications and personal attacks. Dr Paul’s positions are consistent, nuanced and well informed; he doesn’t rely on sound bites or scripted answers, he doesn’t resort to petty personal attacks, and he can debate anyone anywhere at any time. These qualities inspire an awful lot of confidence in voters and, if the media wakes up and starts to do its job, a lot more Americans are going to see just why Ron Paul is the best possible candidate for America. In the end, whether or not the big media shows up, however, is their own business; thanks largely to the internet, the American people are far more informed, and thus more empowered to choose than they have ever been. They possess that ability which the corporate media dreads most: the ability to think for themselves. This time around, free thought and free will are turning out to be pretty popular qualities indeed.
  11. Yep, it's frustrating here isn't it. We get jokers/liars from all sides.
  12. Ex-Wall Street Journal Editor: Dollar Collapse Will Cripple European Economy Former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury says world economy could return to barter system The father of Reagonomics and former Wall Street Journal editor Paul Craig Roberts has warned that the collapsing dollar will eventually cripple the European economy and may even return the world economy to a barter system as financial chaos ensues. Roberts served as an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan Administration and is a former editor and columnist for the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and Scripps Howard News Service. Speaking on the Alex Jones Show yesterday, Roberts cautioned that "The loss in value of the dollar is becoming so rapid it's alarming....we've got unmanageable trade deficits, budget deficits, the economy is set for recession, the wars show no end." Asked how bad the dollar crisis can get, Roberts responded, "It can get awfully bad - the trouble is where can they go?" "If China removes the peg and all the surplus dollars drive up the value of the Chinese currency then given our dependence on China....it's going to drive the prices up here a tremendous amount and Americans don't have any discretionary income left," said Roberts. "At some point the foreigners will stop financing our budget and trade deficits - then we're going to have a massive crisis the likes of which we've not experienced....if you're totally dependent on imports of manufactured goods and you can't pay for them, what do you do?" asked Roberts, explaining that the only recourse would be to print more money, pushing the dollar down even further. Citing the fact that the dollar had lost more than 60 per cent of its value against the Euro since 2001, Roberts said that the flight from the dollar could eventually wreck the European economy because it would cripple their exports. Asked how low the dollar could go, Roberts said that there was a limit because "There's simply so many dollars, there's not enough room in other currencies to absorb them - at some point the flight of investors from the dollar to the Euro will cause amazing troubles in Europe - they won't be able to export anything because the prices are driven up so high." Roberts said investors will eventually desert the Euro as a safe haven from the dollar and the same process will cause a crisis in Britain as the pound is devalued due to exports being hit. "Wages are being frozen, profit margins are shrinking, exports are down - so it's starting to impact on Europe," said Roberts. Roberts warned that the potential destruction of the dollar as the world's reserve currency could eventually return us to a system of barter, completely altering the landscape of the economic structure as we know it.
  13. It's not going to be that bad really. Tidal Wave sounds a lot more dramatic that storm serge mixed with a high tide. Anyway, it's still a fairly serious matter, so yes...hope everyone is safe.
  14. Ian! :stunned: ... It's hard to understand his mindset - impossible I guess. While the TV does have the capacity to affect the brain considerably, I doubt "the telly" gave him "messages" which told him to go "to Spain where [he] was going to kill and eat paedophiles". Very disturbing, paedophile eaters??.....Fuck :\
  15. That's exactly right!! The perfect message.
  16. no shit. I've been moaning about this for ages - as have many others - it's all by design my friend. The stock markets are a false index too - everything is controlled. What happens when you speak out? People call you all sorts of names and when the US dollar loses even more worth (like it has today) Fox News says Dollar inflation is good. All this makes me feel sick. When the US dollar is in this type of trouble it affects whole world! Here's the current Pound Sterling's strength against the Us Dollar Pound Sterling - United States Dollar Here's the current US dollar slide in the last three months against the EURO. United States Dollar - Euro
  17. Here's something that does a decent job of describing it.....actually quite disturbing...it's pretty vital stuff....you need to know it. (both Americans and others) Just look at some one the quotes in the vid..from people in great power.....it's messed up. It's stuff I've known about for ages but it's hard to get people to give a shit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zhs64JnfC8c&e
  18. "Both dogs were bred in America" :dozey: I have a taller dog.
  19. ....so you read the thread title as "Ron Jeremy"?? Fair enough  Back to Ron Paul. Think about this.....almost 40% of the people in America today were not alive the last time there wasn't a member of the Bush or Clinton family in the White House!!! That's almost 118 million Americans that has never known a time when there wasn’t a Bush or Clinton either as president or vice president. Over the last 30 years, every single Republican presidential ticket has featured someone named Bush or Dole. Over the last 55 years, every single Republican presidential ticket except one has featured someone named Bush, Dole, or Nixon. No more of these pre-selected, elite puppets. Ron Paul is the only person who can beat the establishments puppet runner, Hillary. And when you see the Las Vegas bookmakers agree - you know it's true!
  20. Ahhhhhhhh :) Haha, sorry.....it's just really frustrating for me!! :laugh3: It's really hard to explain exactly what's going on in your country to you!! Now you've thrown Bloomberg into the mix! He's part of the exact same mafia style elite as Giuliani, the Bush's, the Clintons. I could write for hours but I'm just going to leave that because I'm sure information about what these people think is widespread. Back to Ron Paul. When Paul says he wants to "get rid of" those agencies he truly means it in a sensible way - with areas such as Education, Health, Welfare being overhauled incrementally. It's not as if welfare would but stopped immediately......it's all about the approach that would mean in the end people won't need it. I'm really unsure that many people here (on this forum) actually know that the politics they know and hate is all a major charade. It's not about Left or Right, Republicans or Democrats. If you think about WWE wrestling ok....bare with me here. Both sides are owned and controlled by the same person - and they have their superstars on both sides - who are hyped up and publicly duel it out to make people choose 'sides'. When in reality....the agenda has already been set..... ....and I guess the hardest part for me is talking about the people you shouldn't want to be president. If you look at who Hillary had associated herself with, which meetings she's been to and the fact that the Bush/Clinton family friendship is so close it's not funny. I'm not saying that they have to hate each other but when big money families like that are going on vacations together - and they are calling each other second sons and daughters you must have an inkling something is up? I know too much about the roots of all these people, all their organisations and companies - which is why it's almost impossible to convey all the factions of the whole god damn thing in a forum post. I want everyone to find out about the CFR, the NAU, PNAC, the Bilderberg Group and at least try and gain the perspective that you wish you had all along.....the perspective that a good few people do not want you to have. It's all out there and it's the main reason why Ron Paul must win. He must get the Republican nomination because he is person who unites both sides.....he destroys that left-right paradigm bubble that the media has trapped large amount of people in. I can't do the wider picture justice myself.... I can just do my best......and the best I can is good enough. It's all there if everyone would just pay attention. Ok, educate yourself!!! Everyone needs to realise it's not as it seems.
  21. Sorry. But you throw a lot of stuff out there but your comprehension of the matters are lacking. The way you have written about which agencies Ron Paul wants to reform is ridiculous. I don't mean to sound horrible to (honestly) but you are implying that he's simply going to disband them and not make efforts to put any new ways to deal with such sectors. Why would you do that? It's just not true. He wants to cut government spending...sure....because you are nine trillion dollars in debt as a nation. The FED is literally screwing you over big style - they print dollars while you don't have the means to back it up. Your dollar going to fall of the chart my friend. Plus The Federal Reserve is a private bank run by unelected officials who are not required to be open or accountable to “we the people.” You should be stomping mad about the current private banks selling your infrastructure out from under your feet. Huge company's have came in and lobbied your officials, paid them off, and now you have a Spanish company owning your major highways - which have already been bought and paid for by you guys, the American tax payers, but they are then going to TOLL them. And already are. Hmmm. That's very wrong. You should want to get out of the UN!! Until you understand realise that then you shouldn't put it down as a bad point!! Paul really wants to work with other countries but the UN was set up with very bad intentions. (you don't want a world government) Paul is anti abortion, sure, a lot of people are.....but he's for leaving it up to the states and to keep the federal government out of that matter. Just like with gay 'marriage' ^ - which he also will leave up to the state. My understanding is that becuase marriage is a religious ceremony it makes sense for gays to not get 'married' as such but having a seperate partnership would be normal, right? I'm not religious at all - but I have several gay friends who find gay marrige nonsensical due to it being a religious affair - which counts them out. He's anti NAU too which is truly awesome. And yes, that Secure border fence will not help stop illegals because the current administration isn't even building it....it was a fake gesture by the current lairs in power. Ron Paul is dedicated to help young people get out off welfare and not just shut it down immediately - but work towards a better solution. He's for defence of your country but defence in the true sense of the word. Not picking fights and setting up fake wars so that the private interest groups that have hijacked your country can make billions from weapons/base sales in foreign countries. He follows your constitution and wants people to move forward with all kinds of new and wonderful ideas......not restrict any type of human growth, expression and happiness....like the other front running candidates. Don't buy into the corporate elites spin. Just listen how they talk about him, seriously - they used such properganda to call him all sorts...all unjustly. They are always misrepresenting Ron Paul because he'd stop the disgusting lobbyists that are causing Washington DC to sell your country to the highest bidders.
