  1. I don't really understand most of the stuff they chose for "pupparatjik" but I do really like the Vanishing Point video they embedded near the bottom of the page. Cool animation and the song by LePetitPrince has got an awesome beat.
  2. I think my person has verrry similar tastes to me, which is not exactly a good thing as they'll probably know every song I wanted to put in my mix. Ah well, I hope they like it anyway.
  3. Eh, I really don't have any criteria for a mix. Whatever I get whether I know it or not will be fun to receive and listen to not knowing whats coming. Just give me a mix of songs you love, thats what I plan on doing.
  4. Its growing on me. I reeeeeally like Giving Up The Gun and I Think UR A Contra, but I cannot stand Diplomat's Son. California English and Cousins are getting better each time I listen to them, but originally I couldn't stand them either.
  5. I'm definitely taking part in this, I think i'll start my mix now...
  6. I've just listened to the album stream and I'm reeeeally not impressed. At all. Which sucks since I loved their first album.
  7. You got Jonny's Viva guitar?!? Dude that is so awesome! Congrats :D
  8. I haven't been able to figure out a way of stretching it through code, but you can save and edit the pic with a border of black to fill up the extra space. Edit:Heres the one I edited to fit my new, larger screen
  9. I fourth this motion and demand you listen to Little Joy, though I recommend it for a Spring/Summer day, it was pretty much all I listened to last summer on repeat. LOVE Damien Rice, though if you're going to pick one i'd say go with O. I prefer Youth and Young Manhood, but definitely listen to a pre-Only By the Night album. Also, if you think you don't like John Mayer and won't listen to Continuum then put the John Mayer Trio on your list instead, its much more guitar centered and less of what is expected by the everyday Mayer hater. Also: Fleet Foxes is a must if you haven't already listened to them. If you like southern rock go old school with some Allman Brothers Band, either try a Greatest Hits or go for Eat A Peach. White Stripes-Icky Thump The Cinematic Orchestra-Ma Fleur Imogen Heap-Speak for Yourself Maroon 5-Songs About Jane Ra Ra Riot-The Rhumb Line The Raconteurs-Broken Boy Soldiers
  10. I wish I had thought to ask for some posters or an unauthorized book, but I still did pretty well with Coldplay presents getting about 30 of Chris' bracelets ( the rest were too small so I gave them to my sister) a new Whatever it Takes Coldplay tote, and two Whatever it Takes Coldplay mugs (one to drink from and one to display). :D
  11. Gah. I'm only going to be able to get the shirt (which alone plus shipping is $36) although I reeeeeeeally want the vinyl...Why did they have to choose after Christmas to start this, before I could have gotten both!
  12. ^me too...but I love this anyway :)
  13. ^Every item is up for ten days. The last of the items put up on Monday will be sold on the 31st.
  14. Does anyone know if the yellow litho has gone yet? If it has I can stop this F5-ing session and try again tomorrow for some AROBTTH lithos.
  15. Got my wonderful card with an awesome sketch of Will a couple of days from my secret santa Tamara/nightmarequeen! These are some scans since my computer had a complete fail and wouldn't let me connect my camera.
  16. Damn it! Why must I always have plans when they do photoblogs! Well, at least I'll have something nice to read when I get home...
  17. On the drive to school today I was listening to Violet Hill and got so excited when I realized that it "was a long and dark December" finally. :D
  18. Congrats on the tickets! *is jealous* I saw Clapton twice when I was younger because my Dad is a huge fan, both I'm pretty sure at Jones Beach, and he was absolutely mind blowing live. I wish I had enough money to buy tickets for myself after the ones I bought my parents and these Muse tickets. Right now I rely on my brother for transportation protection purposes, my parents would never let me go into the city by train alone as long as I live in their house, and therefore rely on his decisions of timing, but, seriously, next tour I'm right up there with the true fans in GA.

  20. Oh, well in America that seems to be the deciding factor of class, but I guess the standards are different when determining class in Britain.
  21. Wow, I've seen the video before but that fact file brought Chris' life more into perspective. I mean I knew he is obviously rich now, all of them are, but I figured they all grew up middle class since that's what Chris always seems to say in interviews. I don't think I can consider someone who grew up with that much money and connectons "middle class".
  22. Thanks! :D And don't worry about not knowing my name, I don't think I've ever told anyone on here what it is (it's Jenn if you're wondering). And I agree with Christa1, the tickets seem extremely cheap compared to the Coldplay tickets I bought for Hartford, and those seats were a whole lot worse than these, too. My brother actually hates sitting on the floor and GA (we're both pretty short) so I went for $50 tickets expecting the second loge level as I would in a Coldplay show, but instead got the first loge level. I think it must be a popularity thing as I almost bought Clapton tickets the other day for MSG and I remember the lowest price being $64.
  23. I got tickets for MSG! :D And they're surprisingly good considering what I'm used to getting for seats.
