Chasing Cars, of course, too. I personally also love Spitting Games, Signal Fire, Just Say Yes(!), and If There's A Rocket. Those are (for the most part) more up-beat and were songs that made a good first impression on me the first time I heard them. I love them all, of course, but some took longer to grow on me. I'm anxious to hear others' suggestions! well, I'm tipsy and tired and should be off now. ;) have a good night!

(500) Days of Summer 9/10 Really enjoyed it. Was touching, funny and, I thought, really true to how real relationships are (minus the singing and dancing in the park). Loved Joseph Gordon Levitt in it. :heart:

I apparently need to shop at Nordstrom's more often. Was there the other day, browsing around. It was completely silent, outside of the hum of people talking and moving around. All of the sudden, the store pianist started playing. It took me a second to place it, but then I realized he was playing Violet Hill! then, as I was trying stuff on, the overhead music was playing and Yellow came on. As I was leaving the store, the pianist started up again... playing Speed of Sound! :wacko:

Have you heard The Golden Floor or The Lightning Strike off of A Hundred Million Suns? To me, they have a somewhat similar feel to Somewhere A Clock is Ticking... especially The Golden Floor.

I dug up this thread because I had to apologize to Coldplay. I HATED High Speed for a looong time. Now I don't know what the hell I was thinking. I really love it now, even though the pre-Parachutes sound is still not my favorite, the song is... wonderful, for lack of a better word. :P
