^Yay! I'm still waiting for my CD (I hope Santa's listening!) Random SP moment of the day... Saw that movie preview that Meredith mentioned a while ago for the movie Leap Year... Just Say Yes was playing in the background! AND that made me remember a preview I saw while at the movies a couple of weeks ago... the movie 'Dear John' has "Set the Fire" prominently used in the clip! :wacky:

Hmmm... it says "Tuesday Pre-Sale" for Houston and Dallas, and that all the pre-sales are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday of this week... am I reading it wrong?? The concert dates are the 17th and 18th... is that what you're looking at?

gaaahhhhhh. Michael, great review and great pics! And Phoenix played, too??? I'm completely jealous now. :P I watched the first part of it on the live webcast... up to Guiding Light. Hysteria and Uprising were excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised they did Resistance, but I was REALLY surprised they did Guiding Light. Seemed like an odd choice for that type of show. :shrug: But, it definitely got me excited to see them in a few months!! :dance: Now if I can only score tickets! Thanks again for the pics and review. I'm so glad you had such a great time! Was that your first time seeing them live?

I don't think it's necessarily unfair, but I understand what you're saying. I suggested that because it seemed that some people had mentioned having multiple entries in the drawing. I think if we were going to go with that idea, having a maximum # of tickets that could be purchased would be a good idea. But, that being said, I wouldn't mind a system where everyone just had one entry, regardless of the amount they contribute. :)

This is a good idea, everyone! I think Ian was on to something when he mentioned tickets. - Only Coldplayers who contribute money would have a chance at winning (assuming an auction is won) - To contribute, you would purchase tickets at a set price (for example $5 or the equivalent in your respective currency). You could purchase as many tickets as you want for that price. - so, those who contribute more would have more tickets in the drawing, and would thus have a better chance at winning. Still doesn't solve the problem of who would handle all the money and the drawing, etc., but something like that might work.

:( Oh, I'm sorry, Lauren... that sucks. I guess I was thinking maybe that would be your Spring Break? I hope it works out for you!! :hug: yeah, Rishi, I'm going to try to get tickets to the shows Ft. Worth and Houston. :dance: It's possible! I heard an interview Matt did on a local radio station a few months ago and he mentioned really wanting to be here in Austin for SXSW. That would be around the time they'll be in TX for the other shows! Fingers crossed!

^I didn't try (being in Texas, and all :P), but looking at their facebook page it looks like A LOT of people are PISSED. People talked about having tickets in their cart, then going through the whole payment info process only to lose the tickets when links failed and they were timed out. Sounds like the pre-sale was a big fail all the way around :(

Excellent review, Bernard! you really should write music reviews for a living... they're always fantastic! I'm so happy for all of you who have gotten to see the Re-worked Tour. I'm also insanely jealous, but I'll just have to get over that. :P

OK, I wasn't around this forum last Christmas, so I was wondering a few things.. 1- When have they traditionally done their xmas message (e.g. the vid with Last Christmas, etc)? Do they do it way before xmas or closer to? 2- Have they done a xmas message every year? 3- I'm sure there's a thread about this somewhere, but I couldn't find it, so... Christmas Lights... Any chance we'll get to hear it THIS Christmas?? Thanks!
