that would have been cool, though I did like the Howling Bells, too. But you're right, it is really too bad they're not more popular here. When I saw SP headline here, they played at a really small venue. Couldn't have been more than 2000 people there. Probably a lot less, actually. But the people there seemed like pretty hardcore fans, which was cool. That was a fantastic show. Which album is your favorite?

^that's awesome :) I got upgraded to the front row for that show, which was fantastic as far as Coldplay went, but unfortunately, at the time I knew nothing (other than Chasing Cars) of Snow Patrol. I felt really bad for kind of just sitting there. But they were awesome and I came home and started getting all their stuff! And yeah, I love how Gary does the crazy song dedications. ;)

Elena highly recommended the albums and I finally checked them out on amazon (where, amazingly enough, they are actually available), but I haven't had a chance to get them yet. I understand that they "reworked" them, and honestly, they're really growing on me. Christina- from what I understand, if you replied to the "[email protected]" on coldplay.com, they've sent an invitation to send in artwork (any kind) for a kind of fan art gallery. Doesn't have to be Coldplay related. Can be photos, videos, etc. here's what the email said: Brooke started a thread about it called The Exhibition Room. :) Edit: ha... looks like Brooke beat me! :P

NPR (National Public Radio here in the US) is attempting to determine the 50 greatest voices in recorded history. They had a nomination process and are now narrowing it down to 100 individuals all representing different genres, cultures and generations. They're asking people to vote for their 5 favorite they believe should be named to the final 50.
