  1. That's exactly what I was thinking! ^ I'm really glad they went trick-or-treating together. I felt bad last year that he spent his halloween with us in DC rather than with his kids.
  2. These stories are awesome. I love hearing that people are as mesmerized by and into Coldplay as I am. Kinda doesn't make me feel so weird anymore. Thanks, guys. For real. :)
  3. Ditto the question about the siggy. What is Jonny saying? ^^^
  4. Oh my gosh - I would LOVE to get Christmas Lights!!! Or, really, any of the other songs you lovely folks have concocted on this thread. hahah You're all so freakin creative! Love it. :) But I think I would like Christmas Lights a bit more - no offense. :P
  5. Pumpkin seeds with salt are FANTASTIC. yuuuummm :)
  6. Wowo...I feel old compared to all ya'll. :) I first heard them/saw them on VH1 when getting ready for school when I was 15. The video for Yellow came on and I had a notepad I kept by the TV when I heard songs I liked so I could write down the artist and song title. I hurried and scribbled it down and FLIPPED out. I was like, "HOLY CRAP. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE!? I LOVE THEM!" Then, I called my brother who was in college and MADE him listen to them. I got him hooked and I always lREALLY iked them and defended them to everyone, but when I heard VLV for the first time, I fell COMPLETELY and pathetically in love with them. Sad that it took me nearly ten years to get there...kinda like a "When Harry Met Sally" of sorts...hahah
  7. Thanks everyone for all the posts! It looks and sounds like it was an awesome show. SOO proud of our guy! :)
  8. Thanks, everyone! Pics and vids on both threads are AWESOME!!! Wish I coulda been there. But glad you all were there to capture it! :D
  9. Holy cow - you guys are freakin talented...I don't care what any of you say! My lyrics would be like: Coldplay are great, Coldplay are nice, famous old painters don't eat mice. Now, THOSE are awesome lyrics. LOL :laugh3:
  10. That's exactly what I was thinking...very hard to read....very interesting to read, though, if you can get past that.
  11. This was awesome! Thank you! :)
  12. ooo I must find this!!
  13. Totally agree...that second picture could seriously melt me if I let it. :) And I LOVE the fuzzy beard face...always trying to get my husband to do that...never quites work out, though. :)
  14. I know what show you mean but I don't watch it enough to know who Katie is. Maybe I should start so I can see someone who reminds me of Gwyneth, and in turn reminds me of Coldplay, every week! :)
  15. It's got to be one of my all-time favorite songs. Loooooove it. <3
  16. Vanessa Williams
  17. Lyme Disease is pretty serious, I think. I've done some research on it now, but I still have to laugh that it was probably at Coldplay when I got bitten by a tick...hence being "tick"ed off. :) Anyway, there's a chance I got bitten more recently as well, but I've been pretty sick now for about 3-4 months and couldn't really figure it out until this week when I got diagnosed. I may not have gotten bitten at Pittsburgh, but I'd like to think I was since that would be a great story to tell! hahaha I think I'll make a t-shirt like, "I went to see Coldplay and all I got was lousy Lyme Disease." hahaha Anyway, I'm sure I'll be fine, just thought other Coldplayers might enjoy the possible irony of the situation. :)
  18. - I flew across the country from Maryland to L.A. for their Carson show...all in 2 days... - I drove seven hours from Maryland to North Carolina for their Raleigh shows...all in 2 days... - I took the metro into DC during rush hour on a school night for their Halloween show last year... Other than alienating lots of people due to my incessant discussion of everything Coldplay, that's all. :)
  19. haha I hope it happened during Clocks...otherwise it just doesn't make any sense. :)
  20. So, I just found out I have Lyme disease and I think I got it by being bitten by a tick while seeing Coldplay in Pittsburgh out on the lawn....how crazy is that? I never saw a tick, but that's the only time I was outdoors for a long period of time in a "wooded" area the past few months. I'm really not ticked off at all at the boys, just find it very ironic..:laugh3: Still love my brothers from other mothers. :)
  21. Coldplay Rip-off? Has anyone heard the Kelly Rowland song "When Love Takes Over"? Totally sounds like Clocks. Anyone else think so? Did she sample it or just coincidence? Check it out here. [ame= ] [/ame]
  22. yeah, when I saw it last week, I immediately got on here to talk about it...I love hearing unexpected references of our boys or their relatives...haha :D
  23. Thanks for sharing! :)
  24. small halloween conundrum....my first Coldplay concert was last year on Halloween in DC and it never occurred to me to dress up but EVERYONE ELSE was dressed in costumes.... sooooo...I vowed that if I ever went to a concert on Halloween again, I would get dressed up....cut to this year, I'm going to see Pearl Jam in Philly on Halloween and don't know if I should dress up or not. I've seen them twice before but I'm just not sure if that crowd is the dressing up kind... However, I REALLY want to dress up...preferably as something Coldplay related. What should I do? And any ideas for a costume if I wear one? Thanks in advance for all your help!
  25. AHHHAHAAHAHAHA ! :laugh3:
