I don't think it is, since 'Strawberry Swing' is on the album which wasn't released in the 2010 award year eligibility period, but Prospekts March was (November 2008), thus making 'Life in Technicolor ii' eligible. I wonder if it was a strategic move actually... Also, the actual video for 'Strawberry Swing' was released outside of the award year too, so I think that makes it ineligible.

This is fantastic!! I was hoping the song (and puppets!) would get some recognition :thumbsup: I wondered if this might happen since 'Propekts March' was the only release that would be eligible for this years nominations as it released in November 2008. I think 'Use Somebody' might beat them out in the Rock Group category (although it's also in a few others, so who knows). But they will probably get the video award. The others weren't anything that great... Here's hoping they might perform, but I doubt it since the Latin America tour is close to that date...

I thought it was interesting that Coldplay posted the missing poster and information for John Regan on their Twitter account. It got me thinking if one of the band members maybe know him, maybe from college or something? He went missing in Camden (their London hangout) and is 30 (around their age), so I guess it could be possible... What do you think? Just seems odd that they are posting this particular missing case. It's so sad when people go missing, I hope he is found safe.

Wasn't White Shadows released as radio only in S. America? I remember someone who was searching for a promo CD of it that apparently does exist... Oh well, it was closer to being a single than the others, so I won't pick it!! YAY, now I have the Japanese Violet Hill CD/DVD set to add to my collection! I have wanted it for a while, and finally got it for $10 :thumbsup: I guess I'll have to update my collection pics soon since I got the US Trouble promo and Talk Remixes a while back too!

Ha, yeah, that's like me... I pretty much have all the official singles and a few promos where an official single didn't exist, but I'm not quite so fanatic that I have to have multiples of everything. I do have mulitples of a single if it's in different formats (ie: Talk comes to mind - Talk CD, Talk DVD, Talk Remixes, Talk 3CD...) The only thing I have two identical copies of is the original Brothers and Sisters CD since it's sort of rare. Other than that, I just need Strawberry Swing to have all I want! YAY! Maybe someday I'll add Mince Spies and Safety, but I dunno...I have it and got a good deal on Amazon for $55 including shipping a while back... I need a record player though. I have all of them on CD singles anyway (well, except 'What If'), but it's a cool collector piece!Wow, it even has the sticker on it!!! :awesome: I'm still sort of mad that I missed 'Mince Spies' when it was on Ebay a few days ago... It only went for $190 WITH the four fanzines aswell :angry: Oh well... I probably shouldn't be spending that on a CD anyway, even if it is Coldplay...
