Have you ever heard of Julliard? Gaga went there for schooling. That's a big deal, and that's pretty much all you need to know to realize her classical training.
  2. ...Wait. Anderson Cooper is gay? WHAT THE HELL. :bigcry: Good. Keep it that way. It's a very awkward place to be. Yeah. :disappointed:
  3. ^ RAEG. How the hell can you call SMBH and KoC "classics" when they're not even 5 years old? Or, better yet, how can you say that when you have an album like OoS that's just better in general? Post-"Plug in Baby?" That's "Citizen Erased" and "Micro Cuts." And "Megalomania." MY GOD. What more does a Muser want? Jesus Christ. UGH. These people make me sick.

Well, yes, but with most pop like the artists you mentioned, it doesn't last very long. I still get "Bad Romance" stuck in my head whenever I hear it, and that song is a couple of years old. "I don't know how much you know about music..." LOL. I don't see how me not knowing specific sales stats makes me musically inept. Sales are only one part of the big picture. Lady Gaga's new album hasn't been out nearly as long as Adele's album (which came out in mid-January...the 18th, if I'm not mistaken), so it really hasn't had enough time to catch up with Adele's sales. As far as "Rolling in the Deep" is concerned...woo, good for her. It's one song. Lady Gaga has several songs that have gained constant radio play here in the States. The only other Adele song that even comes to mind as far as airplay here is "Chasing Pavements," and that song wasn't nearly as popular as "Rolling in the Deep." She didn't even get popular until "21." Not that this is a problem, since "21" is a solid album. I'm just saying that Lady Gaga has proven to be a success in many more ways than you may realize. ...Wow. I thought I'd never see the day when I play devil's advocate and back Lady Gaga. Who knew?
  5. Don't you find it super annoying when you find a super amazing guy who you'd be more than willing to date, only to discover that he's gay? This is not to say that I don't have a good gaydar or anything. My gaydar is actually quite good. I just like to give people the benefit of a doubt. Y'know, straight until proven gay. But yeah. Why do the really nice ones have to be gay? I don't understand. :bigcry:

I'm not the biggest fan of Lady Gaga (I'm not really a fan of hers at all, if I'm honest), but I have to give her credit for one thing. She consistently makes music that gets stuck in your head very easily. That's why she's so successful, and that's why more people listen to her than Adele. Having said that, I love Adele to pieces, and I find Lady Gaga to be an attention whore at times.
  7. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Yes. Also yes. It's so much richer now than it was back when the boys started. I love it. <3 WAT. :freak: -flips shit- I'm making a personal promise to myself that this song is the first thing I look up on YouTube when I start school again on Monday. I HAVE TO SEE THIS. BASS FACE. HNNNNNNNG. :bomb: :wacky: Fank yew.
  8. 1. Hi, Cecilia! :D 2. I really wish I got that National pun more often.
  9. Oh, Flo, you ginger goddess. /steals Michael's term. :wacky:
  10. Yeah, that happened to be the first thing I read about when I logged onto Facebook earlier (from Carla, actually, asking me if this was true). I asked if it was via my Wolstenpage (aptly called "Meet Chris Wolstenholme, the most fertile rock star on the planet. :D"), and I was told that he indeed said that in an interview. ...Yeah. :bigcry:
  11. What's this? A Strokes/Vaccines collab? :awesome: This made my evening. No joke.
  12. :curtain: I'm finally taking a bit of time to get on the Internet. I've missed you guys. Would anyone care to let me know what I've missed?
  13. I have inherited the mello solo in our first show. I AM SO HAPPY AHHHHH WHAT IS LIFE :wacky:
  14. Have fun, Kelly! HAHAHAHAHA. xD
  15. OOOOOH. :surprised: I've never heard of him until now, but I love what I'm hearing. I'll definitely look into more of this.
  16. ^ "Call It What You Want" is my jam.
  17. You don't have to see them in concert to stalk them, you know. ... OK, that just made me sound creepy. :uhoh:
  18. If it's published, then yes, you can. It's called slander/libel.
  19. "The ArchAndroid"-Janelle Monáe
  20. You've changed, and not in a good way. It's great that you're strengthening your relationship with God, but you're doing it all wrong. How do I know? Ever since you started on that path, you've become worse, not better, like I thought people were supposed to do. You used to be so much fun. You used to have fewer inhibitions. You used to be real. As much as you get onto Dad for being the way he is, believe it or not, you are becoming JUST LIKE HIM. Oh yeah, I went there. It's true. You never treated me like garbage before that. I don't know what the hell your problem is, but you had damn well better figure it out.
  21. Do I want to do this? Absolutely. Will I sign up for this? Well...I don't know. Every time something that involves other people's addresses comes up, I get held back because I'm pretty sure my paranoid parents (who don't care that I'm an adult) will make a mountain out of a molehill, and I'm not sure if it's worth that. :bigcry:
  22. Yeah, actually, I'm working on that. Someone PMed me earlier today about a lack of a review, and I've asked her if I can give her tape to you. I'm waiting to get her permission, but I don't think it'll be a problem, and she's very prompt. As soon as I get the A-OK from her, I'll get that tape to you.
  23. I just realized something. With all the rarities that are being played now, if I ever do see Muse live, I will more than likely never get any of them. ... Excuse me while I go cry in a corner. :bigcry:
  24. I don't get the MGMT comparisons. But then again, I never did like MGMT at all, so that's probably why.
  25. Actually, the admins/mods closed all the threads with over 10,000 posts, which resulted in people making new threads. It's supposed to help the site load faster. Anyway, I hope those who have heard/will head "Citizen Erased" enjoy it. It probably won't be played much at all (if ever again) after they stop touring and start work on LP6.
