  1. OK, you guys are just trollin' now.
  2. Yeah, I like it, too. I kinda want one like it, actually.
  3. Yeah, it's random as hell, and it's different. That doesn't make it good. I don't see what Coldplay's status as a mainstream band has to do with anything, but OK. The fact that you're even attempting to compare Coldplay to Sigur Rós amuses me greatly. They're worlds apart from each other. Sigur Rós is Icelandic post-rock who sings almost exclusively in Icelandic and Hopelandic (which is in fact not a language at all, but a gibberish sort of thing used as a separate instrument to compliment the other non-vocal instruments). The only song in which Sigur Rós sings any English at all is "All Alright" from their 2008 album. If you listened to Sigur Rós in any great amount, you would know that already. At any rate, they're post-rock, which is completely different from the alternative/Britpop scene that Coldplay resides in. Oh, Christ. I don't see how many times we've explained it in this thread. We are talking about the title as a separate entity. Whether the music is good or not is irrelevant. An album can sound awesome, yet have a stupid album title.
  4. You do geography, right? (Or at least something like that?) :anxious:
  5. DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT
  6. My estranged brother (Don't ask.) apparently got a new puppy recently. It's a black lab named Shiloh.
  7. Teleport yourself to Texas. :dazzled:
  8. OMG, I totally forgot she was there, too. D: Wow, I feel bad. :disappointed:
  9. ^ Yes and yes. I'm surprised I like that album as much as I do. It's like he took something out of my comfort zone and made it comfortable.
  10. ^ LOL. /unproductive post.
  11. ^ Due to how stupidly tired I am from being up this late, I'm finding that really confusing. :herpderp: Honestly, I have no idea why I'm awake and on my computer at 2:20 am. I need to go to bed. Now.
  12. 24 shows? In the Resistance Tour alone? How much crack is that guy using? :dead: Sorry to hear it was so bad. :\
  13. 1. WUT. I didn't know you didn't like Arcade Fire. -makes mental note- 2. Well, different people hear things differently.
  14.
  15. WTF, no he doesn't. I think of Zach Condon more than I do Win in terms of vocals. Win's vocals are more harsh-sounding. Fanfarlo has enough brass. Also, if you maybe take another listen to "The Walls are Coming Down" and "I'm a Pilot" (or any of the others in 3/4 time, really), you can detect that Fanfarlo and Beirut both have that similar sway about them.
  16. Why does everyone say that? :freak: Honestly, they sound more like Beirut to me.
  17. Clearly the boys didn't take the pronounciation issue into consideration before naming the album the way they did. -shakes head- However, it's good to know that's been cleared up. :nice:
  18. You never know what can happen with leaks. Some albums don't leak until a couple of days before. Others leak way ahead of time. I know that "Helplessness Blues" by Fleet Foxes leaked almost two months before its official release in May. Only time will tell.
  19. The dog I had ended up running away not too long ago. He was a chow/boxer mix, and I feel like if he were a person, we would be best friends. </3 Anyway, if I could have any dog I wanted, I'd get an Akita. :wacky:
  20. Well, Christina, it looks like I was wrong about the whole "ignoramus" thing from earlier. (I just saw your sig again. Different guy.) It's hard to remember names that are just jumbles of letters and numbers. :shame:
