Hi, Ceren! I made your tape. :D OK, so I had a hard time putting this tape together. You had basically told me to put whatever I wanted on it, and I'm terrible at making decisions. HAHA. I eventually put this tape together. It's my first attempt at a themed tape. All of these tracks were released this year, and they're some of my favorites. My comments are interspersed in blue. Thank you. That's my thoughts exactly. To be fair, it's not as bad right now as it was when ETIAW came out. I haven't gotten into any heated arguments yet, and I haven't had to block anyone like I did with one person (who, oddly enough, kept insulting me even after I blocked him. "Ignore list? What are you, 12?" Oh, please.)

WUT. :| The last time I checked, being a fan doesn't require having fixed and blind opinions like those that you find in a cult. Yeah, I went there. That's how I feel about it. Some people on this forum just amaze me with their unwillingness to say/accept anything critical about the band, as if it was a sin to make such comments. It's not. This. :nod: This too. :nod: You guys pretty much have it covered. It's insulting, though, to have someone tell you that you're something you're really not, especially after saying something that's not meant to be insulting in any way and has NOTHING to do with the members of the band or the members of CPing in question, which happens ALL THE TIME. Just today, it's started all over again. Mike got labeled as a Coldplay hater by some n00b just for making a comment about how he hated where Coldplay was going, without even taking into consideration what else he's said about them here. It's stupid, and it's sickening. There's a difference between being a fan and just being an obnoxious snob about it.

I tend to do that with voices instead of faces. I like to imagine what people sound like. I haven't heard anyone enough to where I can read stuff they write in their voice (which is something I tend to do, for whatever reason), but I remember bits and pieces from the few people who I've talked to. Lore's Chilean accent is awesome. :blush: :nod: Sooooo true.

I agree. They're just clean. (I'm a particular fan of the "Parachutes" cover.) I don't think it's as bad with VLV, just because A. it's not their original artwork, and B. it at least gave us an idea of what to expect from the album. MX is just...no.

Given some of the lyrics of MTM (which, in spite of them, I love) and ETIAW (which I don't love), I could totally buy that. I'll stop there, though, before I get into a musical discussion in a thread solely about the title. Yes, because having people all around the world go WTF at the album title instead of just in some countries is a good idea. :|

The font would look a lot better if they had a different background that didn't look so busy. I think it'd work if you had a solid background (maybe white) with the font colored in a certain way. Surely that would look a helluva lot better than what we got.

To quote a Facebook comment I read earlier: "The album cover looks like a Care Bear threw up all over it." No, seriously. The MX-era artwork is a hot mess. I hate it. I actually like the font. I think it's cute. However, it doesn't mesh with the graffiti backdrop at all. It makes it look almost childish.
