  2. Yeah, I agree. It's really cool when we all come together on stuff like this. :nice: See? You learned something from this experience. You're already making steps in the right direction. :D Alright, Anette. Thanks. Too true. Sometimes, the reward is well worth the risk.
  3. "Skeleton Boy" "Live These Days Tonight" is the first single off "Pala," so that sounds about right. Congrats on touching Ed's shrit, BTW. :D
  4. Haha, maybe, but I don't think either of us would mind a private concert, especially if it's Muse. At any rate, that song does kinda fit our situation. BAHAHA. :wacky:  Lovin' the Radiohead references, guys. Yeah, I'll admit that it's kinda funny how this happened so soon after I made that thread. I feel like a fool now. Haha. Eddie, you are inspiring me right now. I'm sure that as a CPing couple, you understand the logistics of how to manage time to communicate with each other. Michael and I live in the same country, but we're still two time zones apart, and my conservative family gives us a few more hurdles to work out. We're trying not to worry about that right now, given we only got together yesterday, but it's something we're going to have to address eventually. You and Rebecka are much farther apart than we are, and yet you guys manage to make it work, and the patience on both of your parts is outstanding. The fact that you're willing to wait all that time to see her amazes me. This gives me hope. If you two can do it, I think we can, too. Thanks. Yep, pretty much. ETA: Thank you so much again for all the kind words, guys. It means a lot.
  5. ^^ Thanks, Lore. :dazzled: ^ Inorite? :wacky:
  6. Hmmm. Probably around kindergarten. Before that, from what my parents told me, I had some huge communication issues. I wouldn't talk to anyone. They had me go a full day in Pre-K instead of the typical half-day in an attempt to get me to be more social with people.
  7. You shouldn't feel that way at all. I feel like this is part of what the Lounge has turned into. It's a place where we can talk about things like this and have it be completely OK. It's funny how it works that way, but it's true. I know you said it wasn't my fault, but I can't help but feel at least partially responsible. :\ You know, Anette, stuff like this in general is about trial and error. You try something, and sometimes it doesn't work. All you can do is keep trying different things until something works. You're still young, and you have plenty of time. (Ironically, this is what people were telling me a few weeks ago when I made that thread about how lonely I was. Funny how that works.)
  8. Oh, goodness no, child. That's what usually happens to me when I say that I'm interested in a guy. It just so happens that this time, I got lucky. I didn't mean for my thread to make you feel bad, Anette. I'm really sorry.
  9. You really should come in here more often.
  10. Thank you so much, everyone. It's great to have so much support from this community.
  11. I'm serious. There have been all these couples that have been formed here. Now, you guys can add Michael (Corkus) and me to that list. He officially asked me a little over an hour ago, and I accepted. It's really weird how it all happened, but we're both very excited. I wasn't going to bother people here with this thing, but I'm extremely happy about it, and I'm sure he wouldn't mind. He's the one who made it Facebook official, after all. Even if he did mind, I'm pretty sure he would forgive me, because he's pretty much the sweetest guy in the world. So yeah. HOORAY.
  12. -shakes head-
  13. ^ That's totally Sara's tape. HAHAHAHA.
  14. True, true. You are excused.
  15. Sara, I believe you meant Guy Garvey, with a G. Having said that, I kinda really wanna know that Track 8 artist now. I love me some Garveh. EDIT: HAHA, Will. I was wondering when you were gonna show up. xD
  16. That sounds exciting! Where exactly are you seeing her?
  17. That sounds great! Do you remember what they played?
  18. If you guys can get him to write it, I'll sing it. :awesome:
  19. Awwwww. Sammy's such an adorable little boy.
  20. YESSSSS. :cheesy:
  21. ^ Actually, I'm pretty sure Ricardo was trolling, too.
  22. ^ Exactly.

I don't think I get the point you're trying to make. Would you care to elaborate?
