  1. When I went to cast my vote, Radiohead had 78 votes. The National had 11. While I know Radiohead will take it, and while I won't be upset about it (as I love Radiohead), I'm going with The National. I love them. Of course, this might also have a little bit to do with my love for Matt Berninger as well...
  2. Lemme review all the stuff that's coming out in September. ♦ "Centipede Hz"-Animal Collective ♦ "Coexist"-The xx ♦ "The Vaccines Come of Age"-The Vaccines ♦ "The 2nd Law"-Muse ♦ Grizzly Bear ♦ Mumford & Sons ♦ The Killers (This is speculation, seeing as no date has been confirmed, but they did say late summer/early autumn, so this is possible.) Brilliant. :cheesy:
  3. Controversial? What on Earth do you mean? You can only take that so far, though. Experimentation is fine, but if you go so far as to go crazy and lose the essence of who you are as a group, that's not gonna work for anyone. Granted, I don't think Muse are gonna do that (They know better), but you never know what can happen.
  4. Is it? That's a shame. I wanted my beautiful Wolsty to sing. :disappointed:
  5. ^^ Someone else who likes it. Thank goodness.
  6. It's not the same thing. ETIAW was a full song, it had a name, and it was confirmed to be on the album. The Muse trailer showed none of those things. We don't know what the intent of the music on the trailer is, and it doesn't have a name. Until Muse say something about it, I'm not taking it too seriously. At any rate, people aren't supposed to judge albums based on songs. Sure, I said that I disliked the song, but I waited until the album came out before giving a full judgment on it. It's the same with this Muse thing. Also, even if it IS a legit Muse track, I don't see what the big deal is. I don't think it's that bad, especially not at the beginning.
  7. Oh, sweet, another trailer! :awesome:
  8. I'm OK with that. Poor Arcade Fire. They don't have a chance. :bigcry:
  9. Yeah, because a 2-minute trailer is such a HUGE indication of what a 45-minute album will sound like.
  10. Now that I've actually watched the trailer, I don't understand why everyone's making such a big deal about it. The ending actually reminds me more of drum & bass than it does dubstep. Not so much Skrillex (), but more like Pendulum (). I don't think it sounds that bad, honestly.
  11. :curtain: Muse. "The 2nd Law." Out in September. That is all. :escaping:
  12. How? BHAR & "The Resistance" don't sound ANYTHING like each other.
  13. OH DANG. That will be hard. I think I'll go with The Killers, though, because I've known them longer and, despite my initial thoughts of "Sam's Town," I like more of their stuff. With Arctic Monkeys, I'm a bigger fan of their earlier albums, but not so much the later ones.
  14. OOOH, Kelly. Naughty, naughty, naughty. Did they play any new material?
  15. KELLYYYYYYY. :bomb:
  16. WUT. That show is over now? D: I had no idea! It has been around for quite a long while, though, hasn't it? Anyway, back on topic: "Hell's Kitchen."
  17. Ever heard of indie pop?
  18. ^ Upon reading that, I couldn't help but be reminded of that Skype talk I had the other day with a drunk Danish boy. Of course, I didn't know he was drunk until he told me. Anyway, obviously, that didn't go very well.
  19. Yes, I've heard of Lights. I'm not a massive fan of her voice.
  20. "Twilight Omens"-Franz Ferdinand
  21. My back gurts.
  22. "As I move my feet towards your body, I can hear this beat. It fills my head and then gets louder and louder."
  23. Having desceneded from something and being something are two different things. Props for being creative, though.
