  1. Julian's even better in real life :wacky: *points to avi*
  2. Good thanks! :D Uni's very busy and such (I have 5 assignments I should be doing right now, but hey :P) but apart from that everythings pretty normal. How are you?
  3. ^^ Isn't Julia's voice just amazing live??? She blew me away the first time I heard her! Also, I hear you when you're talking about the screaming girls, they really ruin the whole concert. Anyway, here are some vids from when I saw them a month ago at Splendour (WARNING: not fantastic quality, and some of the said fangirls can be heard :P but in some parts you can hear the crowd singing and it sounds amazing): [ame= ] [/ame] [ame= ] [/ame]
  4. I am! :awesome: A little disappointed I miss out on Biffy Clyro, but still, Dead Letter Circus are awesome :D
  5. I definitely like TLF better than Antidotes. It took a while for Antidotes to grow on me but I loved the new album after the first listen. Plus I just like it more :P
  6. I was so shocked and sad upon hearing this, it really is tragic news :( R.I.P.
  7. This band is amazing; their live show is fantastic! They were one of the highlights of Splendour for me!! Also, their set was the first time I've ever had to leave the pit during a show because it was too rough for me. Total Life Forever is of my favourite albums of the year so far. Miami, Spanish Sahara, This Orient and Blue Blood are my favourites but I love them all. Though the second disc seems kinda pointless, lol.
  8. I think it's hilarious that there's a hung parliament :P I have a feeling the independent parties will swing towards labour but hey, only time will tell I guess :P
  9. Ooh a new person, hi! :D SAY WHAT?? Seriously, I stay away from the internet for a single weekend and a U2 tour is announced. I would personally love to see them, but with Muse so close it might be a bit too much... my Dad's a huge fan though, maybe I can convince him to buy me a ticket :P Also heard the new Sparkadia song, liked it quite a bit. Haven't heard anything about an album though.
  10. Have fun!! I'm sure it will be a great reunion for you both  Also, it's kinda old news now but I FINALLY uploaded all my vids from Splendour. There here in case you want to see them. Some are OK quality, some are terrible because I couldn't stop dancing, most are somewhere in between :wacky:
  11. I tend to keep my political views to myself, it prevents conflict :wacky: Also, I generally just don't like politics. I know it's essential/important etc but all the bitching that goes on annoys me to no end!!
  12. Grace. replied to Dejan's topic in The World Of Music
These guys are great!! They do sound like Phoenix, also a bit like Cut Copy... a good combination!!
  13. Going to get it tomorrow!! Along with Jinja Safari's EP and Klaxons!
  14. Hey :D I don't have any problems walking with heels, I just don't because my feet hurt too much D: By the way, they are gorgeous heels! :wacky:
  15. Arcade Fire - Neighbour #4 (7 Kettles) I don't really know much Beatles :shame: Link in sig :D
  16. ^^Aww  Today it was going and meeting the cast of a big(ish) movie about to come out in cinemas, and talking to a really nice random girl in the lineup :D
  17. NEVER HEARD OF IT, BUT OK
  18. Beware all, for I have joined the Last.fm revolution! Unfortunately I've had to re-import everything a few times in the last few months so it's not really representative of what I've listened to in the past, but still... Your musical compatibility with fatima_8 is SUPER Music you have in common includes Vampire Weekend, Florence + the Machine, The Strokes, Coldplay and Muse. http://www.last.fm/user/Gracefull91
  19. Oh, I am very well aware of that, believe me - I live in a complex full of uni students! :P You'd better not be likening me to gaga fans, haha
  20. Ahh Tammi you always come when I'm leaving! :( Haha, goodnight anyway! :cheesy:
  21. Ooh, that's exciting! What will you be studying? I study acupuncture, I love it :D And yeah, so I'm only halfway through my first year. Our long holidays go from late Nov/early Dec to late February Haha yeah I hope so, I just really dislike the job I'm in so hopefully I can get another one! It's so hard, living in the city though. Anyway I'm going to go, it's 11pm and I have class at 8 so I should get some sleep done! Goodnight Bea (that's your name, right? :P) :nice:
  22. But some Arctic Monkeys songs have "great beats to them" *ducks*
  23. BAHAHA :laugh3: OK, I'll download it ASAP! Which pretty much means when I get a new computer :dozey: But still, thanks  But I agree, the sound was fantastic, almost the same as on the record! Turner's voice is so great :wacky:
  24. BUMP. I just heard a live version of "Fake Tales of San Fransisco" on the radio and I realised it's the first time I've ever heard a live recording of the band. I rather liked it
