  1. This is something I've been actually wanting to do for a couple of months now. I remember when I first joined this forum, there were dozens and dozens of these threads made, by anyone who believed they were witty or funny. I 've always found it a bit irritating because a lot of people asked good questions and the response was always 'looool idk' 'idk' But after reading through the archives, I began to miss the idea of it, cos a few were actually witty and/or funny. The concept is simple, ask me anything: personal questions, very personal questions, trivia questions, Coldplay-related questions (this is the official Coldplay, after all), sarcastic questions, offensive questions, existential questions, my advice or opinion, etc. Not that it's of any real value, but I'm incredibly bored so yes
  2. I don't know why this made me laugh so hard omg
  3. Rennieee :huskyhug:

    Pics or it didn't happen.
  5. First of all, I like you. I don't think anyone here dislikes you. I have no clue why they would have a reason to, cos I think you're kind, I guess you're a bit reserved as well, don't really talk to many people. But if you feel like people do dislike you:

Congrats on the thread. You know they say getting a thread made in your name on the fan forum of a mediocre band is a rite of passage into manhood.

  8. Because of my indecisiveness, and having no flippin' clue what my partner would like, I crammed quite a lot of different genres into my mixtape. Listening to the mixtapes in the last exchange, this was not really the norm, many people kept to one or perhaps two different 'moods'. Time is running out, what do you think people? Does this make it unique, a kaleidoscope of different genres and cultures, or a train wreck that is hard to keep up with, especially when a mixtape is only supposed to be about an hour long?
  9. I read that thread and it didn't post a solution anywhere :uhoh: PM the administrator, I think the mods can do it, but the Admin would be a safer bet. http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=4
  10. http://skyview.vansd.org/lschmidt/Projects/The%20Nine%20Types%20of%20Intelligence.htm Logical intelligence is not the only thing people are valued for in the world. You are gifted in one of the many kinds of intelligence there are out there, you can very well be gifted in more, but being good at math ≠ you're smart. It's an offense to the people out there who are great with understanding people and rebuild families and lives, the dancers and sports players whose minds are so strong when it comes to hand-eye coordination and perfect timing, etc. Everyone is good at some sort of type of intelligence and therefore everyone is smart in their own unique way. People who might excel in one type might be severly lacking in another. That is why I believe people are equal. Nobody is superior to another. Nobody is inferior or useless. Racists and sexists and classists think that. It's not "I believe women and black people should have equal rights so nooo I am not being like that." I'm having trouble replying to this because I can't put my thoughts into words. Anna you have very many great qualities besides your intelligence and I'm sorry if you are unable to see them. I mean this very honestly, I'm not writing some crap to help my argument. The thing is, you need to learn how to like yourself if you want friends. Because I feel like you praise yourself constantly as a sort of defense mechanism for whatever else you are unhappy about in life. Learn to be a more modest and happy person and the friends will come. But quite a lot of people don't like the idea of being around someone who makes them feel inferior all the time.
  11. Say 'sorry, where do I know you from'? I've done it before plenty of times, it's not rude. People forget things. If you want her to leave her alone, just ignore her messages when you don't want to reply to them. Most of the time they don't care. But I had one chick that I talked to in school, once or twice, maybe. She kept bugging me every single time I was on Facebook and scolded me irl when I was online and didn't reply to her. I told her that I'm sorry, but I don't spend that much time on Facebook. No need to clarify really.

'lms and i'll post what I think abt u on ur wall xxxx :gorgeous:' So you don't have to do this for me. I'm not one to feel comfortable with asking for praise, even in a jokingly way. Brent, I love you because I don't have to pretend to be anyone when I'm talking to you, which I do to at least some extent when I'm talking to most people here. I can just be real with you and you always say something that captures my interest. It's a real gem to be someone who is smart and knows a thing or two about the world, and has a decent sense of humor. You have moments when you're silly and act dumb and make us laugh but other times you show how good of a thinker you are. And also you do care about people, even something as small as this thread, I can barely name any other people who would do it. I'd really like to have you as a close friend irl. Same thing for the rest, you're all amazing and you all make up a part of this awesome community which has given me lots of memories and shaped the person I am, mainly in a positive way haha
  13. Still have no close friends but I'm happy with who I am and that's what matters. I think I'm much more lucky in that sense. The friends will come later.
  14. Sorry what is Troxley
