  1. Politik. All four album openers have been amazing.
  2. Malcolm said it all. Brian Eno was the best thing that happened to Coldplay in a while.
  3. ^ One of their two initial rules was that anyone taking hard drugs would be kicked out of the band.
  4. 8.30am. But most other days I've been waking up at 11am (holidays!).
  5. It's a painting by Eugene Delacroix called Liberty Leading the People. I assume that's what you're talking about.
  6. Yeah, I can't really tell the difference, but I'm a little musically challenged. But I don't think we should complain -- they gave us quite a long EP.
  7. The Oracle answered this question a while back, it was written by Chris.
  8. I love LiTII. I found that the Jon Hopkins track worked really well with LiT, but my ears were just begging for some lyrics. That's not to say I don't like Coldplay's instrumentals, I just find LiTII better than LiT.
  9. I agree with that. I mean, I'm not black, but I don't like the use of the n-word. I see how sometimes, Africans using the word can be acceptable though. However, I really can't stand this song. I love the original Lost!, I love the acoustic version, but I hate this version. So much so that I deleted it off my mp3 player and computer...
  10. We should all submit the question to the Oracle so she's forced to answer us. ;)
  11. When you draw butterflies everywhere. When you yell, "It's 1.36!" and it makes everyone confused.
  12. I think Chris looks better with longer hair.
  13. I'd never heard of Joe Satriani either, but the fact is that he's an amazing guitarist. But the fact that he's good at what he does (and is in a band called Chickenfoot. Chickenfoot?!!) does NOT give him a reason to sue Coldplay. He wants to take them down because he's jealous that they're so famous.
  14. Maan.. haven't listened to Coldplay in like, a week. A week ago I was listening to The Scientist, Ladder to the Sun, and Swallowed in the Sea (all live).
  15. Aww -- such a cute couple. I love Chris and Jonny.
  16. I love Coldplay even more because they don't do drugs and actually care about things that matter. I love it that they make us feel guilty at concerts -- we can change the world and Coldplay's giving us the push we need.
  17. An Australian edition of X&Y was released over here, it was a 'tour edition'. I didn't get it because I already had X&Y but it didn't have live stuff. I think it just had b-sides and vids.
  18. Aw, so cute. Looks more and more like his daddy every day.
  19. See You Soon 73 Glass of Water 71 Crests of Waves 57 I Ran Away 40 Things I Don't Understand 33 - Gravity 34 +
  20. Ha! Yeah, The Nappies gets my vote. I've been listening to Swallowed in the Sea a lot.. really regret missing the Twisted Logic tour because it sounds epic live.
  21. I love Oasis but he's messed up. Two things I love most about Coldplay are the fact that they're clean, and that they actually care. It's nice to see them influencing people with their Make Trade Fair views and equals signs.
  22. Yeah I guess most people already have it, but good on ya for posting this up. :)
  23. AROBTTH 24 + VLV 12 -

I didn't know Phil was Prospekt. Always thought it was one of the boys, but it makes sense. Thanks!
  25. A Rush of Blood was amazing, but being a nerd I loved X&Y. VLV was good because I studied Delacroix at school.
