  2. Coldplay Radiohead The Frames Jeff Buckley Bob Dylan
  3. Completely ridiculous "scare" considering more people died in car accidents in the last 6 seconds than have died total in the U.S. from swine flu. But that's all we're gonna be hearing about for the next few months.
  4. Nylon strings are used primarily for classical finger-picking, as well as a lot of Latin music. I'd say 95% of playing on a nylon is finger-picked. For rock, blues, alternative, most of the music it sounds like you're describing, you'll want a steel-string and play mostly using a pick. But hey, you could be an innovator and play rock with a nylon, why not?
  5. hahahaha watch them lose it to the Wings 2 years in a row. :laugh3:
  6. The Frames for me. They've been making amazing music for about 15 years and I'm just now getting into it. Get more into it, great band.
  7. Okay...funny how you just randomly insult them and don't bring up any real points. At least the people that insult the lyrics or the singing have an opinion that matters, you just say you hate them because they are "bad". You never even said any reason why they should be so hated. So, what a waste of time for me have even stumbled into this thread. Also, to come on a Coldplay forum with a negative Coldplay review...hmmm...I sure believe you were expecting good responses. It's a real desperate cry for attention imo.
  8. I thought people were willing to give these things to others for free...:( I myself just downloaded the album from their site. :smug:
  9. The second is better than the third though, as it shows all the bass notes being played, whereas the third just shows the root notes.
  10. Never seen it but it seems interesting enough.

  12. The meaning of life is Crests Of Daylight making guesses at the meaning of life.
  13. I love this one! In the Bakuba account of demiurge, the Earth was originally nothing but water and darkness, ruled by the giant Mbombo. This giant, after feeling an intense pain in his stomach one day, vomited up the sun, moon, and stars. The heat and light from the sun evaporated the water covering Earth, creating clouds, and after time, the dry hills emerged from the water. Mbombo vomited once more. Many things were contained in this second vomiting—people (the first man and the first woman), animals (the leopard, the eagle, and the monkey Fumu), trees, the falling star, the anvil, the firmament, the razor, medicine, and lighting. The woman of the waters, Nchienge, lived in the East, and her son, Woto, became the first king of the Bakuba. [2][3]
  14. That's an obvious answer, I think they meant more of the meaning spiritually. And I love that song! :wacky:
  15. I'm surprised I didn't know that many people loved SITS
  16. +1 In all seriousness, there can be no answer, since there most likely is no meaning. "Meaning" itself is a human concept, reasoning behind aspects of their lives. Therefore, the closest thing to "life's meaning" that you can find is what you yourself believe and what you want out of life.
  17. This one is pretty darn accurate.
  18. Anyone else find this ironic? Here the guy is making a strong point for Coldplay and talking about how people should not just say whether something is "good" or "bad" right off the bat. And look at those 2 responses.
  19. I'll be your friend :) Want to go to the movies? I heard Up was really good...
  20. I would make the trip to Glasto to see them. *starts saving money in a piggy bank*
