  1. Oh, well I've never actually had it. Just something about the idea of free cake excites me.
  2. Oh same here! Everyone thinks all Americans are just mean and want to rule the world. I want peace! [/hippy]
  3. I'm actually not a huge Keane fan, but Somewhere Only We Know is fun as hell to play, as Rick8 said.
  4. @ former question: Probably "Starry Night" just this one Ever listen to Neil Young?
  5. You don't seem like it, and a lot of other American girls aren't, but people around the world sometimes tend to generalize them. Everyone does generalize, and it's really sad if you are closed-minded.
  6. No thanks Have you ever played "Flight Simulator"?
  7. uhhh...:uhoh: My mom knew someone who knew someone who knew a former unknown baseball player... I never met anyone famous :( SQ
  8. Just like anywhere else in the world, all the girls aren't just the same. There are different people believe it or not. And the sad thing is all American girls usually get classified with the average "American high school girl" image. Dumb, slutty, superficial; the type of people you see on The Hills or whatever those shows are.
  9. Possibly. Who's the most famous person you've ever met?
  10. WEDDING CAKE FTW Honestly, who cares about all the other stuff? It's free cake.
  11. I'm 16. Thank you very much.
  12. you look eerily like Colin Greenwood there...
  13. A Rush Of Blood to the Head :wacky:
  14. It's his best song imo. He really reminds of me of DCFC.
  15. 3:04 AM posting and listening to music
  16. I saw a few other people have recently discovered Michael Benjamin Lerner, an indie-rocker with an appearance and sound similar to Death Cab For Cutie. Really good, easy-to-listen-to music. http://www.myspace.com/telekinesismusic [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbkJZAWBzsc]YouTube - Telekinesis - "Coast of Carolina" (Live In Minneapolis 4/4/09)[/ame]
  17. I hope most people realize that being a perfectionist isn't just caring what people think or trying hard. Being a perfectionist is more like an obsession, an inability to consider something finished until you are 100% positive is is your absolute best. Thom Yorke is a great example of a perfectionist, things must go according to plan and he works his ass off almost to an unhealthy level to achieve his best.
  18. I have a funny feeling they will surprise us and actually split it at a good part. They haven't done much right in the movies so far, but they may end it on a good note/
  19. It was pretty funny to watch the Yankees fans squirm :laugh3:
  20. haha you read my mind :D
  21. A Rush of Blood to the Head sounds great acoustically. :)
  22. haha no way, I just discovered them by accident a couple days ago. The guy looks and sounds so much like the DCFC singer. He's really good.
  23. Sadly, it's not a question of choice. Many obese people are addicted to eating in that way since that's all they've ever done. That'd be like someone coming along and telling you you could only eat vegetables for the rest of your life. Unless you are a vegetarian, you are not gonna be able to give up meat and other foods. And of course the obesity will only get worse since McDonald's is actually doing better since the recession began, as people need a quick, cheap meal...and that's exactly what they're getting. But at what cost?
