I've got to hear this album properly, not on a laptop. This must be the first Coldplay album which I've not rushed to listen to again.... I don't know why.. It's going to take me a few good listens to make my mind up... It does seem there's far too many songs without Jonny on them...??? Hymn for the weekend is by far the worst album track Coldplay have done.... Stand outs for me are Fun, Everglow and Army of one.. I always wanted Coldplay to bring out something fresh, challenging and different from the last, and I applaud them for this.. Will I still listen to this after a year or two... time will tell.. For me... 7/10

To put it into simple terms, MX has good moments, but some poor ones too.. plus it was 3 years ago so everything that's been said doesn't need to be said again, GS was a change and again good moments but overall a bit bland... but I wasn't expecting it, so I'm just happy that we had something

I just want them to take their time and a produce something different from the last one or any of their previous efforts. What I love about Coldplay is they always surprise me. I love all the Coldplay albums, I always listen to them from time to time. I love that their style has changed over different albums and time. They worried too much about criticism early on, that’s why they tried to make the perfect sounding album. They’re not that bothered now and I think you’ll see that in the next album. I love songs like Hurts like heaven and Charlie brown because it reminds me of that live tour and how amazing it was. Bands nowadays have to try and compromise between staying loyal to their sound and sticking with the times.

I find it difficult to pick setlists for future shows because you really don’t know how the live shows are gonna pan out. Don’t see Ghost Stories fitting into stadiums, doesn’t have that big stadium vibe like MX did. Coldplay always seem to surprise us and I’m sure they’ve got ideas on how to present this album. I would like to see more parachutes and more AROBTTH as I feel they fit more with GS.

I don't think they should re-release the album with an extra disc with a few new songs! I didn't buy the viva one, I just brought PM ep... It's not fair on fans! New Ep to run along side the comics seems the way I think they'll go! And I hope it has some genuine good songs on it! It makes sense! Can't remember what songs never made the MX, car kids I know almost made it! So we'll see!

I just hope they take their time, put everything they've got into it, and make sure it's nothing like what they've already done!! That includes Paracutes!! As much as i love it, i just want something different every time! And artists and bands should challenge themselves as well as fans!!!

Only 20 songs played?? That's disappointing!! Well you can't really count Mylo xyloto! I don't know what's going on with bands today! Who much for a standing ticket to these gigs?? Probably between 50-70 quid! And u only get 19 songs!!! They shouldve at least played 23-24!!! Theyve got the back catalogue!!! We was getting 19 songs for the rush of blood tour!!!

For the price of the tickets, and vast amount of songs to choose fro , they have to play at least 22 songs!! Not including interludes and instrumentals!! Positive: I love the vocals on HLH, totally different and I'm glad that it sounds different to the live versions!!! Same with Charlie brown really!!! Negative: PoC just doesn't sound right to me, poor lyrics and I'm not 100% sure on the guest vocals!! Also think MTM would have been better, as someone else on he mentioned!

i think for the price of tickets you'll have to pay and have paid, it only seems fair that the setlist is at least 20 songs long... to be honest its no big deal, ive always thought the brits is a wank awards! this just proves it! no saying anything bad about duffy or GA or elbow... they should really think about adding and changing awards! its all too mixed!

There should be something like a live cd! or something to end the whole X&Y tour! DVD would of been klass! I loved the last one they did! still watch it now!

i'm not moaning, just think they should get on being the best band on the planet!! They are already in the same frame as Oasis (taking 3 years to do an album!) and they've done 6 albums!! And as for the tour dates: they done more on the AROBTTH tour in the UK! Bands like Bon jovi and REM and Chilli peppers done more stadium gigs!!

I know that this rumour about the new coldplay record wont be done for another 5 years is bollocks! but i'm really disappointed with this album and tour! 1. Only 3 singles! 2. Hardest Part rubbish! (Radio only???) 3. Not enough UK dates! Too much time in the U.S!! (sorry u.s fans, i know theres people out there that didnt see them, and i know U.S is massive! and you've probably got a right to moan aswell!) 4. No DVD!!!! gonna be shown on tv!!! :( thats the only thing i look forward to when and album n tour comes to an end! is the fact i can watch it all over again! 5. How long for a new album???????

Might get a few bad replys to this but i was thinking. Coldplay say that the the three albums released to date are part of a trilogy. Correct? And that they are gonna move on with a different sound, dark n edgier! Correct? Should we expect a Coldplay 99-2005 album with all their singles to date?? It would be a good idea to fill the gap between the next album(4th) release! Wot u think?? Or do you think thats just cashing in on it??? I'd buy it!

Well they are just mixing it now in the states. That doesnt take very long. Just hope they take time with this album, and produce their best one yet!!! Everyone's gotta be looking at march,april release. with the full on touring starting in may,june??? It will soon come around!
