I liked it. I disagree with the others, playing a song note-for-note the way it was done originally is not the way to go. What's the point of doing a cover if you're not going to throw a bit of yourself into it? You see that a lot on these singing competition shows, where the contestants get criticized for sounding too much like the original. So with all of that said, well done.

Um, the reason all 4 of the beatles are talented is because they basically turned an entire genre into pop music. They took the rock and roll they were listening to as kids and took it to another level. Nobody can say that since the beatles existed. They were also way ahead of their time in terms of playing and recording technique. Innovators. And as for paul being the only truly talented member, that is so false. A lot of the time the others would help write songs. Octopus's garden is one of my favourites, and thats a Ringo tune. And sure, Paul played multiple instruments. So did the other guys... they just didn't get to showcase it on tour. Did you know John recorded all of the tracks on "Come Together" (minus the drums)?

U2 has been around since 1976, coldplay has been around since 1998, and U2 isn't that much bigger than coldplay. So in terms of rise to fame & success, coldplay wins.

I think I'm gonna like it more than viva... more experimentation going on. Wasn't a huge fan of lost, 42 or yes. So I think between this new album and parachutes, it might be my favourite. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

From what I recall, Chris broke strings in yellow and GPASUYF, and Jonny kind of botched the beginning of in my place. Plus that little ramble after violet hill. My favourite part was hurts like heaven, seeing the running man live and all the colourful lasers was a surreal sight. The video does no justice to what it is really like to see it live.

If that picture in the first post is an album or single cover im gonna be disappointed because coldplay is never in any of their artwork besides the inside of the booklets. I bet that shot is for the inside of the LP5 booklet.

It could be the way you word things. The internet is a strange place when it comes to context. But adding words like "...please..." sends a sort of sarcastic message to the reader, and does come across as negative. As for the whole clarity part - nobody knows much yet, so a lot is possible. I say let the theories be heard!

Yeah, 2 weeks from june 30th. It's now been 4 weeks since June 30th, which leaves us 2 weeks until we know the title.

According to Chris's interview with Ryan Seacrest on June 30th, we have 2 more weeks before the album is announced.
