I'm gonna enter the contest, though I doubt I'll win. My luck has been used up this year, I already won a contest to go to Lollapalooza and see Coldplay.

They'll probably do a remix of some songs too, like they did with GPASUYF/Talk. Also, there will probably be an acoustic set too. I'd like to see lovers in japan again, that was the highlight of the concert for me. I'd also like to see: Life in Technicolor ii Everythings not lost Amsterdam Cemeteries of London Swallowed in the sea (Acoustic would be nice)

I think you learn your "sings" by ear by listening to the song very carefully, as well as having enough music knowledge to make out what is being played.

Well, you definitely have the voice to carry out a song like the scientist well. I'm impressed! If you would like a bit of constructive criticism, the only thing I noticed would be the timing. The acoustic guitar version's timing fluctuates a bit. Most people rely on a drummer and the rest of the band to keep time. As far as the playing/singing goes, you're fine. I really liked it. Keep doing what you're doing, you'll only get better and better. I'd like to hear you play amsterdam

Everybody here needs to stop kidding themselves... If coldplay did this festival tour without any new material you'd all be pissed and saying "HAVE THEY EVEN STARTED THE ALBUM?!?"

Wow, you really don't know what you're talking about. There are many interviews stating McCartney's frustration with not being able to record anything on come together because John wanted to do it all. At this point in the beatles lifespan, there were barely a band. More or less 4 individuals releasing music under one name. All the McCartney albums you have named are his solo records post-beatles. So ofcourse he played most of the instruments. As for the string compositions, they were done mostly by George Martin. Do some better research next time.
