Lover's In Japan Live (dont you miss it?)
Really?! watch Glasto 2005 everythings not lost, such a great sing a long at the end. I've only ever been to the viva tour I'd love to hear that live, even if it means it doesn't fit.

The great cinema food revolt
It's too damn expensive. You're not allowed bringing anything in but water in Canada, but it's usually teenager that are working at these places so they won't say anything if you bring in food.

The Dark Knight Rises
The Dark Knight Rises Discussion Did anyone see the teaser for the new batman before watching harry potter? Looks awesome so far! It will indeed be an epic end to a great trilogy. Anyone else think the batman seemed kinda scared at the end of the trailer?

Cover of Charlie Brown
Stop being an arschloch. the guy clearly asked for constructive criticism, and all I see here are put downs. Now let's see your cover of charlie brown or else don't say anything next time. Ols54, if you're recording in pro tools (practically the industry standard for mixing here in NA, not so much recording. But it is perfectly fine to record in), a great way to get some electric guitar sounds is to download a program called "amplitube" and run it as a plug-in in pro tools. It's a program that allows you to choose which kind of amp you're recording with, without having an actual amp. What you do is run your guitar straight into your audio interface (Mbox for pro tools). But if you are already in the studio, just let the engineer handle all of that. As for the drums, I have a feeling you didn't go with MIDI on this one. If you do drums through a midi controller, along to a click track, you should be able to clean it up using beat detective in pro tools and find a good sections and just loop certain parts of the song. If you are using a real drummer, they will most certainly need a click track and multiple takes. This is normal. Bass - depending on what style you are playing, you'll probably wanna boost these frequencies to really hear it in the mix: Finger picking (Boost 1K), using a pick (boost 2K) and for slap bass (although i doubt there's any in charlie brown, boost 5K) Mixing - leave that to the engineers. Although they should be open to suggestions about the sound you want. And one of the most important things when doing studio recordings in pro tools is to add the "Dither" plug in after you are done mixing, especially if you plan on putting your songs on CDs.

that running man...
Nobody cares. These gifs were bound to be made eventually. I hate to be rude but you're raising a real fuss about it. To repeat myself, nobody cares.

I just googled coldplay walking man gif and got a few results. Here's a bigger one:

What Coldplay should have done in their entire career so far
Problem with letting fans decide ANYTHING is someone always gets disappointed. Thats probably why they don't do it.

Release Date
I'm still sticking to an august/september release. There is that big one month gap...

My concerns
I'd prefer viva over x&y. A message was way too cheesy. Bring on more arena rock!

Lover's In Japan Live (dont you miss it?)
I think it would be cool if they kind of started their setlists off with the John Hopkins Intro, then go into Life In Technicolor ii, sort of as a way of starting where they left off from the viva la vida tour.

What would you name "LP5"?

Release Date
I'd say it's highly possible that we won't see the album until later in the year. They definitely won't be starting their tour until 2012, so it would make sense.
