This is the most exciting R42 post I've read in a long time. And I'm glad that Chris' songbook looks identical to mine. :D

I really hate Glee, but a ton of people at my school made a Glee club where they get together and have huge watching parties. I will be attending for this episode.

That was awesome. Great thing to see right when I woke up :D

The Goldrush

I bought Parachutes when I was eight...or should I say my dad bought it for me. We both listened to it constantly. As each album came out I went out and picked it up; so I've been listening for a long time. That said, I wasn't really a SUPER obsessed fan until right after VLV came out. I get a lot of flak for it (especially the poster I just put up in my dorm room), but it's so worth it. Those guys have gotten me through some of the roughest points in my life thus far. I am eternally grateful.

Wow cool. I really thought they were CP songs. Either way, I'm pretty impressed with the music; and it actually got me way more hyped up for LP5 than I already was...which is pretty impressive!

I'm going to miss the Viva era, it was just so epic. But at the same time, I'm excited to see what direction they finally end up going with. I have faith in the guys. They haven't let me down yet, and I don't think they have the capacity to do so.

On a related note, this is a quote from my roommate yesterday: "You've been listening to Coldplay since we moved in here. That's two weeks straight, and I havent heard you play the same song twice yet...HOW MANY COLDPLAY SONGS DO YOU HAVE?" (I've played songs multiple times, I just thought this was hilarious.)

I love X&Y. I get chills every time I hear the last lines of "A Message." Those last few seconds just blow my mind. I wouldn't really call the album "overproduced" though. I understand that argument, but I've always felt that if Coldplay put it out, then they had faith in the sound they were trying to convey. In this case, a very synthy kind of sound :D That said, it's not my favourite album. I like the direction they took with it, but Rush is just too perfect.

I'm not really too surprised about the 2011 LP5 release announcement. I'm sure it's going to come out around when Viva did, which means Summer 2011 is going to be fantastic :)

I actually think Plan B is real. I could just see the way that song sounds being the "stripped down" style they mentioned LP5 would be like. That said, it sounds like Chris too. Although, if it ARE real, that doesn't mean it will actually make the cut for the next album; in fact, I'd find it less likely to happen.

The Hypnofeed is really puzzling, but there's no way these links have nothing to do with the new songs. I just hope it becomes clearer as time goes on.

Not a huge fan of A Spell, A Rebel Yell. I love the way Chris' vocals sound, but the synths...not so much. The drum beat is pretty cool though too...hmm... ::listens to again:: Yeah I still don't like it... :P
