yeah, i had an email conversation with her and she said she met them before AROBTTH. She comes across as a very nice person, and was patient with me...:) She told me about demo cds (cause thats what i asked about in the email) and she said some stuff and it was pretty cool

Hey all I was listening to the song (shock horror!!!) and I wondered what the effects were that Jonny used to record (Or likewise to play it live, I'm sure there's not much of a difference) the song, coz they are pretty interesting effects, they make it sound sorta synth-y, if you know what I mean. So, if anyone has any clue, that'd be great!

Hey all. I've got a mobile phone...and I've been stuck in a sort of SOS call mode for about 15 mins now. Here's how it happened! I was messing around on my phone, and I went onto this PIN thing (to enter my PIN number). It turned out it was wrong. Then it asked for something called a PUK code (wtf?). I have 2 options now: Enter a PUK code (which I have no idea what that is) or call an SOS number (112, 911, 999, 000, 08...etc...) I call any number, then immediately hang up, hoping to get out of it, but it takes me back to the "Emergency Call" screen. If I choose back from here, it takes me to the "Enter PUK code" If I enter any PUK code, it asks me for a New PIN1 code, then to verify that code. If these two codes match, it will tell me "Invalid PUK". Now, I am stuck, i have tried to turn my phone off, then back on again, and to remove the SIM, turn on the camera, hold down all the buttons (at different times) and nothing has happened! I will need help soon, as I am going to meet a friend in town tomorrow and my parents want me to call them when I get there! So, if anyone can help me out, I will be eternally grateful! Oh yeah, my phone is an LG KS500 slide phone in silver, I'm sure that'll help you out! Thankyou a billion trillion in advance!

I can't believe you're saying that. Ok, to the comparisons to U2. But, the backing tracks...(apart from about 3 or 4 live songs) that's a load of SHIT! In 42, there is absolutely no backing tracks on in 42, and so what? They can't exactly play all of the instruments!! And, they're not "commercial machines" only Fix You, The Hardest Part and Viva La Vida are, there are more than a Hundred more songs that other people don't listen to! If it's your choice, then fair enough, but what a choice and statement. I'm sure there are tons of people in this forum who are like me and object to your statement about Coldplay. So, please share, who are you gonna listen to now?

why on earth did you take drugs? They mess up your mind, and fuck up your life, you get addicted and ruin your whole life. You do not need crappy mushrooms to appreciate the music. It's just pointless, and no matter what you say, drugs are addictive. No doubt about it, I am against smoking and drug abuse and I think it is entirely wrong to abuse such a substance. But, i guess it's your choice, and if that's the only time you've used them, then fair enough. But, I know how you feel when listening to coldplay music, it transports you into a different place. Rock on!

Kol are bigger than coldplay in some ways. Almost everybody in my school prefers kol to cp. But Kings Of Leon are massively overrated, tey are boring. And sex on fire is a bad song. Wheras it's a different story for Coldplay. They are massively underrated. Whenever I say coldplay to a friend, they always say...Viva La Vida. That song ruined coldplay I think. People are so attached to that song, they don't hear all of Coldplay's better songs, like Politik, Lost!, Warning Sign, the list goes on. What I'm trying to say is that Kings Of Leon are more popular than coldplay and are not as good as they're made out to be and like Coldplay's Viva La Vida, Sex On Fire is the only song by them that is listened to, and that it's not such a good song.

when people say that coldplay songs are depressing, slow abd for slitting wrists to, exactly which songs do they mean? Fix You? What, the song with an amazing climax at the end which gives you goosebumps and makes you want to hug somebody? The Scientist? That song is all avout love and relationships, not about your wife dying or something. Do you get what I mean? even Muse's songs are more depressing, they sound the same and almost all of their songs are in minor keys!!

Phil would do a rap album...coz he dont sing! I would LOVE to see a sort of acoustic-blues theme in a Jonny Buckland solo album! It would be awesome! Oh yh, and jazz guitar!

Vlv is the only album by coldplay that i can listen to whole...apart from Parachutes...and Apart from Arobtth...so, basically,X&Y is the only one I won't listen to fully...It just seems too unfriendly and distant...I dan't explain it, but vlv is the opposite.
