  1. Prospekt's March. I have just fallen completely in love with it... the song is just beautiful, and the lyrics are breathtaking. I've currently been researching the Gallipoli campaign of WWI... and, lyrics-wise, the song seems a perfect fit to be about it. Breathtaking, and so very, very sad. Makes me want to cry each time I listen to it... really feel for those poor soldiers within that horrible mess. The title 'Poppyfields' really seems to make it certain about the meaning, because fields of poppies grew on the battlefields of Gallipoli years afterwards... "I don't want to die On my own, here tonight." /RANT OVER.
  2. He seems almost incapable of walking normally.
  3. ^ I agree. Young guys are a bore. I've dated a few, but I don't really see myself getting in a serious relationship with someone until I'm in my late 20s (when the maturity level has caught up, no?) A 16 year old Chris Martin? Just point me in his direction! :P
  4. Suicide is the only option for people like this.
  5. Hahhah. Chris loves the X Factor. But in a way that he makes fun of the judges for being so judgemental... I doubt he'd want to actually perform on it. :P
  6. Hear, hear! :nice: Aww, the thing is: there's an ignore thread option, and no one is really forcing you to look at certain silly threads. I don't know about you guys, but one of the reasons I come on Coldplaying is because of the relaxed atmosphere... if we start being strict and bossy with acceptable topics to talk about, where will the fun go? I mean, it's great to have some sort of standard, but it's important to not go too far and remember it is just a forum. :nice:
  7. ^ I thought it was 'things will never be the same again'? Same meaning, but anywho... :nice: I currently just started loving The Escapist again. Sigh. I could never get sick of this song. I'm considering making a separate mp3 file of just The Escapist without DAAHF infront of it...
  8. It was working for me the whole time. Huh. Come on; update, update, update?
  9. Amsterdam, today. I'm not feeling particularly happy right now, that's why... :(
  10. Naw, settle down, dear Zeya. We're just having a bit of fun. No need to get all worked up! This is a forum for relaxing and unwinding, chatting with fellow fans in a caring environment. If there's a thread you don't agree with (but isn't hurting anyone), just let it be. It's just some fun!
  11. We can't all be boy magnets. ...
  12. I spotted a title on the whiteboard... shortly after Chris talking about Eno 'nudging' him out of the band, and the DJ talking about them being conscientious... Guy is swaying his head to a song, and in the background you can see: "If I Ever Fall In Love Again" As well as "Cartoon Heart" and "Love In A Lethal Dose"
  13. Fix You. Aaaand Wedding Bells. :curtain:
  14. "It's very rare that you'll get the sound of two drumsticks being thrown down... and you know you're gonna turn around and see that face... shaking his head..." - Chris Hahahahahahahaha.
  15. This is amazing! Can't believe I didn't even think of trotting over to this thread before. :P Wedding Bells, of course, just gorgeous. This has made me SO FREAKIN' EXCITED for the new album! They've really got so much material! I expected much less, you know. As soon as Gwyneth Paltrow came onto the screen... grr. I resisted the urge to scream in jealousy. But, other than that... squee. :nice:
  16. Is this forrealz?! That's the first time I have attempted to use that phrase. And it will definitely be the last. Anyway, 'Love In A Lethal Dose'? Seems a little My Chemical Romance-esque.
  17. Twisted Logic? "You go backwards... but then! You go forwards again!" Bahaha. Seems quite suitable for the craziness that is the love square in Midsummer Night's. Anyway: yeah. I agree with everyone saying A Rush of Blood to the Head!
  18. GORGEOUS. Wow, this is amazing. But to be fair, anything that Chris performs sounds amazing to me. I'm just too bias... :shame:
  19. I Bloom Blaum replied to tartpops's topic in Coldplay
I'm planning on getting one on my wrist. Have been planning this for ages. :nice: Do it! The good thing is, even if your love for Coldplay fades away (psh, as if that would ever happen...), you'll still have a beautiful butterfly. Everyone loves butterflies!
  20. EXCELLENT! They could be their own lawyers!
  21. @ the 'finding hidden pics' thing: Yeah, I've been doing that for a while for the images with links with numbers in 'em. That's how I got all of the 'job predictor' things a while back. :nice:
  22. EXACTLY! And to everyone who asked: yes, I actually sent that, and yes, I would love to see the face of whoever reads it as well.
  23. It is out! Well, the only thing I see it has in common with the other video seems to be the idea of a street... a lonely street. Anyone else have any thoughts?
  24. Zooey is quite pretty, and has a lovely singing voice. But her acting abilities are horrendous. Sorry, just being honest.
