I think that the guys have arrived in a place where they really just want to change all the time - due to the fact that their earlier records were called boring, sleep inducing etc. and they don't really know how to make it as interesting as the earlier stuff was. Plus I think that somewhere along the line they lost sight of how good they used to be when they kept it really simple. :shrug: That being said, I like Teardrop - love Sparks. I'm going to wait until I hear the other new songs to acctually get a real opinion.

I agree with you about the build-up, Carrie - also about the "arena song". I think they wanted to release it 'cause it's a good sing-a-long and a fun live song (at least in my opinion, although I haven't seen it live yet :P) Maybe in the real tour :hug: Why does everything have to be complicated or whatever. So, they wrote a lyrically below average song - it's not the end of the world. :shrug: (Although I do like some of the lyrics, absolutely not all of them). Lastly I just want to express my dislike of how Debs was talked to. It's so nice for the Coldplay fans to have her come around here from time to time - I think a little respect is in order (not just towards her, of course, but towards everyone).

Maybe she doesn't even go through all the questions. And she only answers two/three at the time. Anyway, I'm not going to argue with you about what the Oracle does or doesn't do. :escaping:
