  1. I just love this song. I think it's absolutely beautiful. :wacky: Can't wait to hear the studio version.
  2. ^^ Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!
  3. Did I say anything about those two songs? Thought we were talking about Paradise here. Aaaanyway. I do love those two songs. It just makes me even more baffled that they would put those on the same album as ETIAW and Paradise. (I wish they'd put Moving to Mars on it instead).
  4. :heart::hug:
  5. Wow, everyone just keeps missing the point. No one's expecting the new Yellow, Fix You or whatever. It was so disappointing to hear something from them that doesn't sound emotionally genuine - something I, for one, love them for having been in the past.
  6. Well, I can only speak for myself... It doesn't feel very nice, that's for sure! :shrug: I listen to music for what it is, I love Moving to Mars and Charlie Brown. Very sad about the fact that I can't say that for all of the new songs.
  7. (Just shortened your post because it was so long to quote) YOU, dear Sir, win all the awards. Exactly my thoughts. Thank you for taking the time to write that and very welcome to the board. :nice:
  8. We can't merge anything today due to the large capacity of people on the board! We'll merge once it settles down a bit :nice:
  9. How on earth is it ANYTHING like Fix You? EDIT: And I do love them when they're trying. But they're not even trying right now.
  10. See roses in the rain :wacky: (bottom left corner)
  11. Does anyone have any cyanide? 'Cause I kind of want to poison myself now. :sick:
  12. I don't think it's about whether or not it's going to be a hit or not. It's def going to be a hit - it's mainstream enough for non-fans to like it and Coldplay are big enough to get a lot of airplay. The "hate" (which I think is honest disappointment and expressing of opinions) is because this is not very "them". :shrug: I just expected more.
  13. I... I'm gutted. The Coldplay I know and love are nowhere to be heard on this track. There's a nice bit after the first verse with the piano but that's the only thing I like about the song. The lyrics are a bit generic and it's so damn overproduced. Why, why, why would you put in 'Every tear's a waterfall' in there? Why? It just feels like instead of them making wonderful, heartfelt music that I can relate to they've ended up adding to the massive amount of forgettable, mainstream, radio music that doesn't pull on my heartstrings at all. It's with trepidation that I await the album now.
  14. Happy Birthday to my favourite guitarist :wacky: :heart:
  15. Hahahahaha, oh, dear. Who did they let loose with the spray cans? Their kids? :P Sorry, but that's not pretty at all.
  16. Well, that was nice, indeed! :wacky: Will be tentatively excited until Monday now :awesome:
  17. ...That's a cigarette brand. :P
  18. Bumped into Rik Simpson. Tells me: "We finished the album at 2am". It's on this USB stick. Get ready folks! R42 http://t.co/mBxZG3y 6 minutes ago
  19. Very nice! I think Chris would absolutely love to see that if you ever meet him! :nice:
  20. The latest blog have finally made me tentatively excited for what's to come :wacky:
