True, but Arcade Fire beats the hell out of 98% of all bands, including Wilco. I'm sure I've said this before, but the AF shows I saw in 2007 were among the best live shows I've ever seen. I've seen over a hundred different artists so that should say something.

I might be crazy enough to go to the Dusseldorf gig on my own though. :wacko: Train and hostel are quite cheap and it's not that far away. I'm kind of surprised at the size of some of these venues. When did AF get this big? :thinking: Sooooooo, is anyone planning on going to any of these newly announced shows?

YES. I was really impressed even though I already knew what to expect (watched a full show on an online stream a while back). The guys were really chatty and fun. Matt basically insulted everyone from Utrecht by saying the city was so beautiful that the people living in it must be fake. :lol: And he dedicated a song to Germany after they'd lost (not that hard to guess which song). I was pleasantly surprised that they played Available, which is basically ancient. Matt did two crowd walks, one during Available and one during Terrible Love (the last song). Both times he went all the way to the back of the hall and the whole audience helped carrying his microphone wire. :wacky: I had a great time, this might be my favourite concert of the year so far (music wise anyway) and the list is already pretty impressive. You're seeing them with Vampire Weekend, right? Just so you know, The National >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Vampire Weekend. :D

Wow, Mumford got big. They are playing a 5,500 cap. venue here. Bands like Snow Patrol and Gorillaz play in the same hall. :freak: It's kind of a shame because their music isn't meant for big halls. :\
