Lost: Season 6 (The Finale) [OFFICIAL THREAD]
It's too long for a tv promo. But wow, that's a pretty terrific whatever it is. Lost is such an epic show. :wacky:

Radiohead
I care way more about a tour than a new album. :shame:

Lost: Season 6 (The Finale) [OFFICIAL THREAD]
Is that the real finale promo? I have Monday off, so I have ALL DAY to look forward to watching the finale-finale (I don't like watching Lost when it's not dark yet). Or I could watch at 4 AM and be a zombie for the rest of the day. HURL-e is genius! Locke has the best puns though. :D Or Will Smith. :disappointed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dear_John_letter That would be very interesting. :P By the way, I DEMAND some Ben action this episode. It's about damn time he starts pwning everyone and everything.

Laura Marling
Methinks we would've heard something concrete by now as she's quite busy this summer (as are Mumford, if she needs them to record) and it takes time to record/mix/print etc. But you never knoooooooow.

The Orange Lights
This sounds very Travis/Thirteen sensesish. I'm gonna check out their album. :nice:

Laura Marling
 The guys from Mumford & Sons are quite busy this year. Honestly, I don't think it's gonna happen and I'm quite content with one album this year. She can release her third next year or something. :P By the way, she's playing a festival I'm attending in August, so I might see her perform then. :nice:

That's quite.. ambitious. :inquisitive:

LCD Soundsystem
Yes, but Animal Collective is like Pitchfork's wet dream. I expected a high score/best new music as well, but a 9.2 is really, really high. Statistically, the chance of getting a 9+ score probably is less than 1%. :P

LCD Soundsystem
You were hoping for a 9.5 from Pitchfork?

No Dear John letter?

LCD Soundsystem
Pitchfork says 9.2 :o Highest this year?

Lost: Season 6 (The Finale) [OFFICIAL THREAD]
I prefer Smokey to MIB. :wacky: Fringe is pretty mediocre imo. I do watch it occasionally, but for me it's not interesting enough to really keep track of. Maybe it's too serialized for me. I really prefer the "big mystery" series like Carnivale (if they had continued it :bigcry:) and Veronica Mars (first 2 seasons only). All the other shows entertain me from time to time, but I never keep watching them. By the way, after Lost isn't :awesome:.

The National
Clearly most of the people there were either suicidal or comatose. Sitting down again.

Can anyone explain this horrid cover of LIT II? WOW.
Oh, jeez.

The National
http://www.youtube.com/user/TheNationalVEVO Only 2 vids so far. I hope somebody ripped the audio. :wacky: (don't need to see the audience again tbh) It's kind of embarrassing to see how Matt did a crowd walk during Bloodbuzz and the audience barely reacted. Crappy people. :\

I'm still not sure if I want to/should go May 31st. :shame:

Glastonbury 2010
Awesome. That's the only radio station I regularly listen to.

The Snow Patrol Thread
It would make a strong last impression though.

SUFJAN AND RICHARD REED PARRY :wacky: What a fucking great performance! I'm glad I stayed up for it because it seems like the whole thing isn't on youtube anymore. I'm really tired though. :disappointed: I particularly enjoyed Squalor Victoria (the shouting was so freaking awesome :awesome:), England, Runaway and Mr. November (crowdwalkclimb xD). Vanderlyle and Conversation 16 (premature applause ) were a little sloppy. I don't think I nodded of, so they didn't play About Today, right? The crowd was really awkward though. It seemed as if they barely enjoyed it. And the place was so empty. I mean, when I go to a gig it's usually really crowded (unless only half of the tickets are sold, but I don't think that's the case here) and here the place almost looked deserted. And I'm anti seats. Matt basically called us European diehards losers. Nice. By the way, he really doesn't know what to do with himself on stage whe he's not singing, does he? :D

3:00 AM - still watching. :shame:

The National
The majority of the people there are sitting. Such a shame. :freak: But it looks like it's gonna be a normal set and so far their sets have been pretty much the same. I'm seeing them this summer (up to three times even), so I guess I'm not gonna stay up for this. Seats. Criminal. :disappointed:

Lost: Season 6 (The Finale) [OFFICIAL THREAD]
No way that they knew. For example, Ben was supposed to be in season 2 only (but I'm really glad they changed their minds about that) and I'm pretty sure Smokey was supposed to be just a machine (instead of a person) until season 5. Honestly, I don't think they started thinking about the ending until season 3, when they negotiated an end date. I liked House for a few episodes but quickly got bored of it. Now I only watch occasionally when it's on tv. I also watch How I Met Your Mother and The Mentalist and just recently Bones again (started that one when it actually began a few years ago, but I skipped season 4 and a big part of 5). I'm not invested in those shows at all.
