Post your concert pics here
Ah, that's what I figured. Your pictures tend to turn out very noisy, which indicates that your camera uses a very high ISO (sensitivity to light, basically you should use the lowest ISO value for the best quality/least noise - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_speed). If you ever consider buying a new camera, make sure it has (at least) semi automatic settings. I think your pictures would improve loads if your camera had aperture/shutter speed priority (the first means is that you choose the ISO value and the camera chooses the shutter speed, the second one is the other way around) By the way, your camera deals with sound SO much better than mine. If I record a video and there's even a little bit of bass, all you hear is BZZZZZZZZ BZZZZZZZ BZZZZZ. Canon Powershot A710. It's quite old and crappy (2007, I think) but because it has manual and semi manual settings, it's still quite handy. I usually shoot pictures in aperture priority with ISO 400 (the quality of 800 makes my cry :disappointed:) during concerts. Photos tend to turn out a bit overexposed, but they are still way better than pics taken in automatic mode (because cameras rather use a higher ISO than a lower shutterspeed in auto). Oh, and I usually edit the photos a little in photoshop. Otherwise I use a DSLR, but that one can't deal with low light situations at all. I make lots of very crappy photos, but I don't post those. :sweatdrop:

LCD Soundsystem
Yeah, me too. But it kinda makes sense because the album isn't officially released yet. I don't have any other complaints than not hearing Dance Yrself Clean though, the setlist was super. :nice:

LCD Soundsystem
Yes! Amazing show, just as expected. Lots of dancing and beer flying through the air. :D They played for about 100 minutes. Only three songs from new album (Drunk Girls, Pow Pow and I Can Change), a couple from Sound of Silver, but most songs from the début. I was pleasantly surprised they played Losing My Edge. The absolute highlight was Yeah (Crass), but Movement and Tribulations were pretty crazy as well. :D I was kind of disappointed that they didn't play Dance Yrself Clean, but otherwise the setlist was fantastic. Sometimes Murphy's vocals were a bit off, but I guess that didn't really matter. Hopefully I'll be able to see them again this summer. A couple of photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/quintessenceofdust/tags/lcdsoundsystem/ Setlist: 1. Us v Them 2. Drunk Girls 3. Get Innocuous 4. Yr City’s A Sucker 5. Pow Pow 6. Daft Punk Is Playing At My House 7. All My Friends 8. I Can Change 9. Tribulations 10. Movement 11. Yeah ---- 12. Someone Great 13. Losing My Edge 14. New York I Love You (and a bit of Empire State of Mind) :dozey:

Flight Of The Conchords
BEST SHOW EVER. :awesome: And I don't think I'm exaggerating (that much). This was the best show I've gone to this year for sure and probably also one of the best ever. Definitely the funniest. :D Kristen Schaal was going to open, but because of the ash cloud she couldn't make it. The Conchords played for nearly two hours (a LOT longer than I'd expected), most songs from the début and strangely, they only played two songs off I Told You I Was Freaky. Suffice to say, the show was amazing. Lots of hilarious banter (about milk wigs, for example :laugh3:) and they played almost every song a little different from the studio versions. I was pleasantly surprised that they played Jenny and Bus Driver's Song, my favourites. They played one song that was new (I think), but I didn't record it. It was a Jemaine song about wooing a woman in 1353. Basically, he sang about how he bought new clothes (tight tights and pointy shoes) and hired a horse (a hassle because he needed two forms of identification ) to woo a woman who was to be married to the king. He failed because he didn't want to fight the king, he just wanted to tell his friends he could woo a woman. :D I'm really really really hoping that somebody recorded the show (or any of this tour's shows, for that matter). :wacky: (but nothing so far ) The setlist was something like this (but not necessarily in the right order): The most beautiful girl Robots Jenny Bus Driver's Song I'm not crying think about it Foux du fafa I told you I was freaky (new song) Hiphopopotamus etc bowie boom Business time epileptic dog Mutha'uckas ladies of the world --- too many dicks [ame= ] [/ame]
