  1. Maybe they look at him and go 'man's too beastly just to play bass' Daym. At least they could confuse him and say he was their drummer or summat because at least that could be partway true (considering he was a drummer first and then Matt and Dom were all like 'be in our band and play bass :awesome:')
  2. It was such a Wolstenfail it had to be double posted.
  3. That's the second person that has asked me that today. If it is true (which I doubt) the baby is about 3 weeks premature or so... The original report comes from a Russian site that says she's had a baby boy. I think they may be getting her confused with Natalie Portman (who it was discovered today had a baby boy)
  4. ^Dude. I love the wallpaper! I thought it might be just from my general stalking talents of noticing all the tickets were from bands I know you've seen. Oh and the fact that I can see a Hurts setlist in a frame. :ninja: Aww, it's alright for some eh :P
  5. Is that your room by any chance? Also: thread has been quiet because we're all in those final weeks of school/college/uni in which we have insane amounts of work and exams. I had my first exam yesterday. So only 7 more to go here :escaping:
  6. I would kill to have that. I literally do mean that. Gosh, I'd love to own that.
  7. It is indeed a concert scrapbook. I've got piles of photos, tickets, confetti and setlists that I've nabbed over the last 21 months. I've been previously sticking them to my walls and stuff but I'm now moving (again) and I've decided it's probably a better idea to scapbook all this stuff. Which is my current project between revision :P
  8. Oooohhh. Those designs sound nice Michael. I wish you the best of luck. You know, you could photoshop the designs and then use t-shirt transferring chemicals to get them onto the shirt? My friend bought me some of the stuff to do it for my birthday as I've always wanted to make my 'Da Bomb' and 'Holy Fuckery, It's Batman!' doodles into t-shirts :laugh3: Continuing with the slightly creative theme. I'm thinking that for my scrapbook for my Muse page that I'm going to try and recreate the artwork from The Resistance as the page layout. Or at least use the Hexagons as a basis of a design. (To be fair, it's going to be a while until I get to the Muse layout, I'm only on Just Jack from November 2009 atm )
  9. Hey guys. Was wondering where you all were at. No one seems to procrastinate like me... In which I finish one lecture of revision and then check here and so on and so forth. You guys seem to be wayyy more studious than me atm :laugh3: Really glad that you've done so well thus far with your finals Christina! Those are proper amazing scores. I cannot imagine getting anything to that effect with these exams (I did get 95% in English Language at A-Level which puts me in the top 3% of the country for it... Why did I not do English at uni? :bigcry:) My exams start on Tuesday and then run on through until the 30th of the month. Basically my whole timetable goes exam day, day off, exam day ect. Also, made way better by the fact that Clinical Aspects is my first exam and that's like the hardest over and done with first. :escaping: Good luck with your art attack Michael, you must show us the results!
  10. ^^ Ed's shirt... Ohmygosh
  11. Please tell me it is a good album. I love Houdini and very much like Pumped up Kicks. It's not released here until the 27th of the month though :\
  12. Releasing the weekend after Glastonbury? But before a large quantity of other festivals? Slightly dubious in my mind. And July 1st is a Friday... Which Coldplay have just shown, they won't do (delaying ETIAW in the UK to ensure their sales all tally for this week for the charts). EMI also wouldn't let this happen I'd say
  13. ^Nope, no official word. They haven't started really working on it yet me believes. Only reliable word is that they're all living in/around London so they can write/record it all. I don't share a birthday with Maffoo. I was supposed to, but I'm a bitch and put my Mum through 24 hours of labour /coolstorybro One of my friends that I've known since birth does though. :D
  14. Thank god. I know some people that do. It makes me feel ill(er)
  15. Please tell me you don't drink vodka straight... Sure, it was your gift to Matt...
  16. Good luck  Tell us all how it goes! Michael  Honestly, you get drunk and you create this. How is it possible :freak: :dazzled: He's so keruteeee.
  17. :laugh3::laugh3: Story of my life. Don't Lick Icy Buses, You'll Hurt
  18. Wellll, my schedule is pretty much working 9-5 all week. Monday nights I will also be working a completely ridic 6-10 on top of that. And Saturdays I will be working 10-6. So I can pop in around that. :laugh3: Basically I can probably stay up until 2am here for you weekdays and Saturday night you can have me to your hearts content. Ohhh, and Michael I suffer the same addiction I feel. I should be completely broke and not looking at other concerts beyond Benicassim but I've only recently booked 5 others too. I'm kind of glad I now have my placement to balance out this spending. :laugh3:
  19. Ahhh timezones. :\ I'm Nattatouille on there as per, like, everything.
  20. Don't Let It Be Yet-another Horrible-title?
  21. Oh. Oh. Oh. I'm also interested in the Skype Coldplayer group. Oh. Oh. Oh. Also, I always forget Matt's birthday is a day before mine. :p He does need to slim down though. Maybe he needs to start going running :laugh3:
  22. ^^ I do like the Arctic Monkeys, but I've only heard a few of Alex's solo tracks actually. I should probably look at more. Oh gosh, that haircut  didn't he have long-ish hair? (Or am I just confusing them with, oh idk, every other indie band of the age) I like the track though. And people were right, I started at the beginning and worked my way forward and remembered why I haven't listened in a while. The dramatic shift confused me. It's like different bands. Maroon 5 are good, I still haven't got Hands All Over though. I might have to see how much it is on iTunes or how much I can get a physical copy for. (I think though my brother got me an iTunes voucher for my birthday so I might use that :laugh3:)
  23. I can't believe I couldn't tell the difference between QotSA and TCV... I have them both on my iPod. And it's Josh Homme so my mind becomes addled with him anyway. I didn't even realise John Frusciante did solo things! Ahhh, I am so excite, going to definitely have to look up some more stuff  I also love the fact that I know The Reindeer Section but didn't know this song-- I guess minus Gary's voice I completely flounder and fail on recognising them  Thanks once again, and I will be checking out some of the bands for sure. Also, you have superb musical taste then  (Maybe that's me being biased :laugh3:)
