I think the lawsuit doesn't even really need to be acknowledged by the guys. If they said anything about it then it would look like they're taking it seriously and like there is something more than an unknown stamping his feet. By not acknowledging it, it just makes the guy look even more unimportant than everyone already says.

I just don't get how anyone could even, for a split-second, believe anything this guy is saying. I mean, it's been ten years and he can't exactly claim to only be hearing about them now because that DOESN'T HAPPEN! There is no way anyone could have missed 'Clocks' and 'Yellow' because they circulated everywhere for an awfully long time. And he waits until Coldplay become one of the biggest and most popular bands.... Not really money-grabbing... much?

Ahah, I seriously think some of the tracks of their first two albums are seriously underrated and Starfighter Pilot is definitely one of them. The woman that was sat next to me at the gig turned to me and asked whether it was a cover :shocked2: I went to the first night at The Brighton Centre, how about you? And I second that sentiment, definitely a wicked cool evening!

Oh coolies, a thread for Snow Patrol that I apparently missed the first few times I scrolled down here (failz!me). I know I'm a little late to the party and all that but I'm a massive Snow Patrol fan-- my favourites definitely having to be 'Starfighter Pilot' and 'Lifeboats'. I recently saw them live on their reworked tour, which was a really great night even if Gary was incredibly uncomfortable in his very snazzy suit. :laugh3:

I can haz spare please? I'ma located in the UK. I was at one of the Wembley shows but found it really difficult to find anyone with the CD's (no one was at my exit) and still make it for the train home! Thanks =]

I know! It was the same for me a week ago when I thought I had got tickets to the Exeter gig and then, turned out I didn't. I did cry. Wow, yeah, that's definitely a positive story! I think everyone has their fingers crossed for everyone!

Yeah, I think something like that would be fairer. I thought they were doing the BIN ones for fans... At the moment it is just luck which isn't so much for fans-- it's easy enough for collectors too.

THERE IS JUST SO MUCH AWESOME STUFF!!! I'm going to be bidding on one of the lithographs, and knowing my luck, I won't get it... But it's the idea that there's something actually in my price range that is exciting me. :D To be honest I would kill for any of the Viva era tour jackets or the Strawberry Swing costume. Hey guys, just thought it was about time to come out of the woodwork and start properly interacting with the forum rather than lurking about in the corner. I'm Natt, I'm 18 and I live in the UK. I'm also a student, currently studying Molecular Medicine at university with the view to becoming a Pathologist. I first heard Coldplay back in 2000 when my Dad bought 'Parachutes' a few weeks after it came out. I really loved 'Yellow' and sung along to it all the time. And I guess, that's where it all started. I went to see Coldplay earlier this year at Wembley Stadium which was my first ever gig (and it started my passion for concerts) and by far the best gig I've been to. So, yeah, I guess that's it really. I'm really looking forward to joining in and chatting with you guys; it seems like a nice place to chill with fellow fans!

I'm currently bidding on the auction. As it stands I am number four on the bidding list (yay!) but it still has 6 days to go and I can imagine prices are going to sky-rocket on Friday morning. :cry: Still, I'm more than happy to live on beans for a few months if I can just get tickets to go!
